New Veigar stun worthless

Hello, although I'm not what you consider an avid Veigar player I do enjoy to mess around in normal's from time to time especially considering I own Final boss Veigar, however I absolutely cant stand what they did to him. I understand he could instantly burst some one down but so could Leblanc,Annie and Katarina but they didn't get reworked to pieces. Leblanc doesn't even have counter play yet Veigar was riots focus... Don't get me wrong I love the new Q and I was fine when I heard about the delay on his E but riot needs to understand that Veigar can't REMOTLEY compete with these other assassin type mid laners with the ability to blink over his wall. For example after just playing against Katarina i found out pre 6 I was fine but as soon as she hit six it was over.... absolutely no counter play to her what so ever. All she had to do was walk up to me shunpo over my stun and ult me and I was bursted down before I knew what happened. RIOT PLEASE FIX THIS there is a reason no one sees Veigar anymore... I personally believe if his stun was reworked so it could no longer be blinked over he would once again be a viable champion, but until then I doubt to see him any time in the near future. PLEASE RITO FIX THIS FOR THE LOVE OF VEIGAR.

veigar main here, veigar is cripple in both laning and 1v1 potential now.

he exists as a harassment mage who stays out of harms way but just in range to Q. he can only use his E to follow up or catch someone who isn't paying attention or made a mistake and used their escape tool early and they generally failed in what they were trying to do.

veigar cant defend himself or 1v1 anyone, he straight up needs a team to engage for him at which point veigar can follow up reasonably well after 16mins, before that hes super weak, 16~30 hes average with other ap mid laners. 35mins+ he starts to become better than nearly everyone in damage output.

hes basically forced into tower hugger mode, and now a team fight only player.

Not really, my first game I played with him in I carried. He takes alot more skill now to play. The good Veigar players will continue deuce kids and the bad ones will get worse.

It's still one of the best zoning tools in the game. If you really think his E is worthless, you must think Jarvan ult is worthless.

Congratulations, you are all discovering Veigar actually takes skill to play now.

It takes correct timing and prediction to land his Q, W, and E now, and his Ult is really just the finisher.

Preventing blinks would fit the theme of being a black hole and all, but it probably would be too much. A defensive aspect of his E needs to be added though
