Every single game I play I always do bad against her... I play Fizz,Yasuo,Viktor,Vel Koz, you name it. I've never had a single game against her in lane where I went positive. Anyone else thing she needs a nerf or is it just me .__.
Orangesilk4 votesI play Cho against her, her true damage barely scrapes his insane HP pool, which is constantly healing anyways, and a silenced Ahri is pretty much a dead Ahri.
The reason why she's weak against Cho is that she pays a very meaninful price for her mobility (Her ult CD), so if she tries to juke my Q, I can just stop trading and try again in 15 seconds, fucking her up.
RIP Tahm Kench1 votesI agree with the Cho pick, but if you're using Q when she isn't silenced, you're doing it wrong. Same thing with maxing Q first even though it has higher base damage, your W is much better for poking all mages (except Xerath because lolrange). I pretty much never Q in lane unless I'm trying to go in for the kill with my ult, as using it leaves you very open to ganks.
Orangesilk1 votesI always max W, and poke with it, but using Q on a low HP Ahri is a great way to make her burn her ult with your low-cd skill. And THAT's when you kill her. If I don't do this, I often find myself silencing her, knocking her up, and as I make my way for the killing blow, the silence is gone and she ults away.

I found any mid laners are pretty bad against her played by anyone with a little bit of ability. I find that mobile ADC ranged toons tend to do better against her than any of the mid-laner mages.

Now she's safe, but not that much of a threat any more. I found playing against the old Ahri much more exciting.

She does have a TON of targeted damage at close range, her ult and w hurt like a bitch. So that's probably your problem. Try building an abyssal early if your going AP, otherwise you should beat her as bruiser build. NEVER get close to her unless your going to kill her. Her w can outtrade almost anything.

she is a decent support, i tried several times, won bot lane each time also she can be adc, it even was played competitively several years ago i personally won a troll game as a duomid ad ahri (having an intentional feeder annie too, who then changed her mind) recently (: imo she is a better support than adc though

for me is too safe, 3 dashes, a m speed buff and if you reach her, she has also a stun
no she doesn't, she has a skillshot taunt also she is slow, even 3 dashes aren't always enough to flee from some champions
OctoBit1 votesMore than likely it is just you. You do have to worry a lot about positioning when playing against Ahri. When I started playing league Ahri, Leblanc, and Gragas were top tier picks for the mid lane. I was learning to main Ori at the time and Ahri counters Ori, but because I played against it enough and I learned from my mistakes I got good against Ahri. An Ahri pick does not phase me anymore even if I counter myself with Ori. If you have not played as Ahri yet then I suggest you do that. It will help you understand Ahri's limits and weaknesses. You can then have an easier time laning against her. Good luck :)

main, and trust me, she's not nerarly close to OP, the ap ratio on her abilitys are a lot lower than the other mages, to be effective she needs to get lots of AP early and snowball throught the game, just don't feed her and you will be okay. If she gets fed, like everyother champ can, then yea, she becomes a nine tailed monster, and any sticky champ like Talon, Diana, Swain and others can easily counter her
