Unfair rank games.

Okay, so today I played my first ranked game and got my ass kicked. I mean, it was my first so I didn't expect to win. However, I played another 3 games and lost every single one one of them. Mostly because the whole enemy team was silver or at least a level seven. I just don't see how this is fair because I can't get better if I keep going against people who are already better then me. Also, I'm not trying to make this look like I'm blaming the match making for my loses. Of course I'm going to lose, but I'll never win if I keep going against gold and silver or level seven. Also we will get a gold or silver on our team, but this gold or silver player is paired up with a bunch of bronze player. Its not fair for the player, because of course we're going to be bad. We're bronze. I just really want to get better at league and I just see this matchmaking as a wall I can't climb. I don't know how to win when I'm going against gold and silver players.

when you first start out in ranked it places you in silver for your placements and then based on how you do the players get better or worse

Don't worry, if you lose all 10 placements your enemies will get substantially easier from there on out.

Honestly just keep playing in normals on 1-3 champions in each role and once you feel good enough on them then play ranked. You'll never be good in your first season so just try to learn instead of fiddling with ranked. Additionally, try to research the champions you like playing to know what you should be doing on them such as what runes and masteries and combos.

I went 17-5 with Katarina on my first ranked game and I still lost. And after losing 3 of your matches you would be playing with high bronzes. You only need 3 wins for silver so it's pretty hard to end up in bronze. Also it doesn't matter if the enemy team has a gold player because that means they will have a player that is lower than everyone to balance it. Just play simple champs and more ranked games to improve. If you played 10 matches and you're still up against silver players it's because it means you're at a silver level.
