Aurelion Sol ability rework feels.... horrible. I'm not going to play him anymore :(

I logged in just to make a post, which I never do, because this is THAT BAD and I need to be vocal about it.

I have 100k+ points on sol. I know I'm not the best sol player, but I used to play him a lot, and have picked him up again recently. He was a lot of fun to play, and I enjoyed the challenge that came with his complex abilities. I think I'm going to have to stop playing him now; he is just not fun to play with this rework. The rework on him changes his entire gameplay, and takes away elements I really liked about him. For example:

  1. I can no longer maintain harassment or farm properly on W because the stars change speed and it automatically deactivates after 3s (this is INFURIATING). I also rely on the stars' spin speed for my positioning, but now it doesn't even matter because I can't align/time myself properly anymore.
  2. I can no longer catch up to enemies running away with passive E movement speed.

Idc if you don't revert him back completely, but PLEASE revert at least these 2 points.

I personally am really disappointed by the mini rework. The New E is great, and his ult is still really fun, but his identity as a really consistent control mage is gone now that his burst is more important.

Welcome to the club, i stopped playing Rengar Mordekaiser after the reworks, both 300k+ mastery.

I hated and still hate alot of the new reworks (Kayle, sion, yorick, galio, aatrox, morde) so I feel your pain.... I mean in the case of sion/galio, I don't mind playing them but hes just not even close to the same champion and I miss their old kits....

Atleast you get to keep a huge portion of his kit, on a side note I think he looks more fun an engaging to me but I play ARAM only and in this burst meta he just didn't offer much. He would get dog piled and killed quickly unless you had 30 ping and can ult a rengar mid leap or some ridiculous reaction speed, that or he'd need some huge peel/turtle team mates like trundle.

EDIT: I've just accepted the fact that they will rework champions just to stir the pot, people who liked em will hate em and vice versa, inevitably getting people to buy new skins... as they say, destruction is a form of creation.

Umm what are you talking about. He actually does more damage due to the rotation of passive and you get a free phase rush off his w.
