Is it safe to play ranked right now?

I got the best timing on getting promos when the new champs come out so i avoided playing ranked yesterday due to fear of getting terrible duos on my team and amazing ones on the enemy's. Do these champions actually get banned or no. P.S. Would also be nice if plat+ players could answer this question as i am in this elo

It's pretty alright, although if I were you, I'd just save it until your mini-series is about to expire.

The champs by themselves aren't bad. When they are together there are issues.
