Transfusion's Healing Projectile, Vladimir's clunkiness and a Vladimir rework

Hi, as we all know Transfusion's healing projectile gets blocked by Vladimir's own abilies like Sanguine Pool and the active ability of Zhonya's Hourglass. I find this interaction very bad designed. I can understand that Wind Wall's blocking it and have no problem with it since it is an enemy ability, but my own abilities as well, really? I would like to see that changed, even if it means that Vladimir needs to be nerfed then. Another concern I have are cast times of Vladimir's other abilities. I would like to see the cast times shortened or removed in exchange for some nerfs since this would obviously increase his power. Vladimir is an old champion and we all know he needs a rework sooner or later due to his lack of counterplay and decisions. But he feels very clunky right now and I do not really see a reason to not take these easy steps to make him feel less clunky until a rework is on the line. These changes would improve the fun of the quite big fanbase Vladimir has. :)

Could we get a statement about this and if it is possible that we will see a Vladimir rework in 2015? Thanks in advance for ur response Rioters and I hope we can discuss about this stuff dear fellow summoners. =)

Have a wonderful day everyone. <3

he's fine as far as his abilities, ill agree that not getting healed with zhonya or pool on is dumb but he may need a few number adjustments to become strong again

He doesnt fit to current gap cosing, high-burst champions meta . His biggest weaknes is 0 capability of kiling target without his summoners. Everyone will just walk away, because he is kinda slow and has to stop for casting. You just cant go all in and kill anyone if you cant keep up with them. Also, hes kit needs almost every stat in game - HP, armor, MR, AP, SV, penetration, rylai for slow.... He has to have high burst and be tanky in same time.. which isnt possible if your not faaaaaar ahead. But over all, he just isnt 1v1 guy, he is teamfighter and semi-tanky AP fighter, and after recent quality life improvement (sumoners in pool, tides of blood bug fix, and mby tides of blood buff long duration incoming) i think he's gona be quite ok.

Honestly, I think he's fine as he is now. Maybe a few buffs are in order to push him up a bit, but I don't see any reason to rework him.

He needs a rework because he lacks counterplay while playing against him.

Yeah, that aspect of him is kinda frustrating. If you didn't pick a champion that can kill him from far away or with good tracking skills, it's not going to be a very fun lane.

I don't think it's so much an issue of counterplay as it is one of extremely low decision-making on Vlad's part: Vlad can be kited really easily and gets shut down by Grievous Wounds (not a good thing in itself, though), but his passive, Q and E dumb down decision-making more than anything else: his passive gives him pretty much everything he wants (tankiness and damage) no matter what he builds, his E's cost is eliminated by spellvamp and otherwise hinges on a binary decision (spam if there's an enemy nearby, don't if there isn't), and his Q is frequently cited as an example of an ability with no decision-making involved in its use (no matter who you use it on or when, it's a net benefit to you). I think this boils down to the same thing, however: giving Vlad meaningful tradeoffs would give him access to more power and better usability on his skills, though that would probably mean reworking a large part of his kit (not Sanguine Pool or Hemoplague, however).

Did anyone else notice that the amplified Spell Vamp by Tides of Blood is ridiculously overpowered when combined with a Spriit Visage? If u build 9% Spell Vamp through runes and masteries u reach 52% (!) Spell Vamp with just a Will of the Ancients and a Spirit Visage on lv13! A second revolver allows a maximum of 76% spell vamp. Theoretically u could build a Gunblade on top of that to reach 114% Spell Vamp...

I do not know how u guys think about this, but I think that this change from the last patch to Tides of Blood completely overtuned Vlad's lategame healing. Even though it is unlikely to see Gunblades on Vladimir, I think a second Revolver after the WotA is quite accessable.

I will need more testing to see if the massive Spell Vamp is really worth replacing Movement Speed Quintessences, but for now it seems that Spell Vamp is at least more than viable now, which was not really the case before.
