IS IT EVEN WORTH IT TO WIN MATCHES ANYMORE WITH THE NEW SYSTEM(S)?!
At first I thought the new Blue Essence system was hella cool and much cooler than IP but when they removed the ability to earn Blue Essence at the end of matches, it makes me extremely less motivated to win matches. I mean what's the point of playing a match if all you're getting out of it is EXP for a higher level WHICH enemies can't even see? Why is it such a choir to get mastery level 7 tokens if your enemies CAN'T SEE THEM IN THE LOADING SCREEN? With the new emotes, Mastery flashes aren't as important to me in my opinion, there's nothing to work for.
It takes forever to build up Blue essence to get mastery tokens which is pretty much a waste of time as I explained and it's also less motivating to win matches if I'm not getting anything out of a match except a stupid chest or key fragment which isn't what I want. I want to be able to buy champions, not get a bunch of Alistair every time I level up. I want to be able to play the new champions but I can't because I'm trying to pay off my mastery tokens for my own partial satisfaction and it's just impossible to get rewards after matches.
I just wish some things were left alone. The old IP system was more balanced, less cool but more balanced because you didn't have to spend a month to pay off everything you have goals to pay off. It's as if the new Blue essence system was put into place to encourage people to spend RP to buy their favorite champions and if they don't, they have to suffer and level up until they can afford them. Also those mystery champion things in the store is stupid. Sure it's cheaper but what if I worked super hard to get one and DON'T get a champion I want? C'mon, throw me a bone. I want my victories to be WORTH it and not just EXP for levels that the enemy can't see.
Please tell me I'm not the only one suffering these issues with the new league updates.
(Side note, why the heck cant we honor enemy players anymore? what if I face a godlike Fiora player and I wanna honor her after a good duel? It feels like I'm being robbed from some of my experience while playing because I can't honor the enemy after a good duel.)
