I dont... understand how matchmaking works

Why are so many games completely one-sided? Way too often I've been better than anyone else on the other team, and have had significantly worse players on my team. (I have nothing against people that aren't good at league, but they shouldn't be in my ranked games)

If someone would explain exactly how matchmaking works, or even what it takes into consideration, i would appreciate it

blame riot. ended my placements 5/5

4 out of the 5 loses 1 of my teammates was losing so hard that you could report him for inting.

most tilted one was 0/11/2 rengar comes to my lane dies to enemy mid laner. meanwhile, i kill enemy mid laner instantly enemy jungler shows up holds the lane. she tries to gank me 3-5 times succeeded 2 times. I got tilted

I mean if I lose lane hard like 0/10 I wouldn't get tilted only thing that tilts me is junglers that rengar was jungling for the enemy team sadly and then u have bot ofc me mid win lane top win lane bot is 1/9 we instantly lose.

I miss the season 4 where u could solo carry now u gotta hope THAT your team is decent so u can do something.

if people lose lane ok 1-3 deaths. winnable game but if they go 0/6+ instant lose doesn't matter if any other lane won

Law of large numbers mostly. You can check Here for the info riots provided but most the stuffs pretty common sense so it might be of little to no help for ya. Reds have discussed looking into snowball but its likely going to be some time before changes to address that get implemented, so expect a few more months with painful 1 sided games.

They matchmaking forces a 50% win ratio as far as it can. So, it usually put you in a far stronger team, or in a far weaker one, based on your win ratio. Good job :D
