Please BUFF CELERITY

As a mainer of immobile mages like Twisted Fate and Annie I find it very hard to lane as before the new Rune system. With full movement speed Quintessences I would get 4.5 movement speed buff which allowed me to substitute damage for utility which was something I was happy to do. Now with only 3% movement speed on the default Celerity option I find it hard to face previous matchups as Twisted fate and Annie. Please riot do something about celerity or add a different option to substitute other runes for Movement speed. Some of you may say this isn't anything big but I don't find the game enjoyable anymore since these changes. I really wish we had the old Quintessences runes back :(

Celerity was only at 4% because Phase Rush was so bad for ranged users before they gave them back slow resistance, it was always supposed to be 3%.

There is no way you can call a secondary rune that was equivalent to 3 quintessences balanced and everyone used to take it. If you need more movement speed take magical footwear. There is no reason why every ADC, Bruiser, Tank, and Assassin should be taking celerity every game, that would be even more disadvantageous for all the mages who choose to take Transcendence.

Celerity is still taken almost every time over transcendence, the later is garbo as it does nothing until lvl 10 while celerity gives you 2 ms quints starting lvl 1.

If you said buff transcendence then you could maybe have a point, but celerity is still taken by everyone and their mother and is one of the best minor runes of sorcery.

Too bad, Riot doesn't think you should be able to play how you want.

But for what it's worth I agree with you. Removing the rune system was the stupidest thing Riot could have done.
