So i always want to use the items except health potion and wards. How to i use the other ones like the shoes etc.

They have to be usable. The item 1001 and its upgrade are not usable. The stats are passive. You get the stats by having it in your inventory.

Most of items have passive effects, that means you just buy them, get stats and do nothing with them for the rest of game. But some beside stats have actives like item 3060 item 3092 item 3146 item 3512 , to active them you have to press right number 1-6 (depends where in your inventory that item is). For some, thats just it, but there are few that after pressing number you have to target someone or place it on the ground. Hope you understand
