The problem with jungle.

I been seeing a lot of post about the jungle and lee and J4 been broken. The issue is not champs and not jungle in my option is that problem that junglers that can gank will always be better than any other style of jungler mainly because it not only gets the jungle a head but also the lane they are ganking will also get ahead. Its just basic math, if a jungle ganks the situation changes dramatically it goes from a 2v2 or 1v1 to a 2v1 or 3v2 . And even if the gank doesn't result in a kill it can easily lead to a small deficit for the lane that got ganked. That might a flash a couple cs but the laner(s) that get ganked will always lose something. In order to fix this the opposing jungler has to gank that same lane or another lane to balance out the deficient. So if that jungler decides to counter jungle or just farm up he/she will be keep here team in a deficit unless he/she makes a significant dent to the enemy jungle or can sustain so long in the jungle that they can out pace the jungler that is ganking but both are significantly harder than ganking.

Counter Jungling is hard because it puts literally across enemy lines making it easier for you to get killed and most of the time you won't get anything because the jungle is empty or the jungler is not there. Plus outside of red and blue buff the other camps are not worth much with out constantly being on the other side of map increasing you risk. Also counter jungling is only effective in the early game because as the game goes on more and more people will be in the enemy jungle.

Farming the jungle is always going to be the weakest since you don't contribute much until your goal state weather that be lvl 6 or get a certain item and in this time the other jungler snow ball the game. Farming jungle does have it perks such as dragon and baron control and its very effective against counter jungling but it has little to no early game presence.

I know this is very simple take on all that happens in the jungle but it should show that the currently ganking junglers are signifcatly easier to play and have a strong early and late game.

So what I want to know is how would people like to see happen to balance this out.

  1. Nerf the strong junglers - Basically hit all the strong junglers with the nerf bat until their numbers go down
  2. Buff weak junglers - buff the weaker junglers untill the strong junglers numbers go down.
  3. Nerf the jungle. - Reduce the exp and gold you gain from the jungle making ganking junglers not get as much lvls from the jungle making them have to get susfull ganks to get lvls and gold while counter junglers and farming junglers would be able to keep up with laners because they are always farming. 4.Buff jungle - make the jungle harder to clear to make ganking junglers have to spend more time in the jungle 5 Buff laners - give people in the lanes more options like longer wards in order to survive a gank .

Let me know what you think.

  1. congrats, nobody can jungle pre level 3 without severe risk of getting ganked in their own jungle. duo top starts.
  2. only realistic solution, but at a price of riot simply saying what goes where, which they say they don't like.
  3. reduced rewards from the jungle forces poor early gankers into complete oblivion. WW, for instance, is now literally, at any point in the game, behind by default. in other words, you take the current problems and magnify them.
  4. no, the gankers now spend NO time in the jungle and permacamp lanes, making every single one of them feast or famine, while anyone that can still stand up to the farming goes godmode in relation to his "lane" opponent spending so much time waiting to gank.
  5. the slightest slip up in the jungle lets every laner on either team quickly surpass a jungler until like 20 minutes. if a laner gets ahead by 2 kills, the jungler is often completely unable to do anything about it anymore. That's the situation NOW. why exacerbate this?

The right way to fix it is to pull on several levers at once, not just go HAM on one of them. Lee, Vi, and J4 could all use a slight nerf to their earliest power. A buff to early vision to ward up your own jungle, like a once per game free ward, could protect the weaker starts. you could fix gold gain for tanks by adding cash and/or XP based on time spent fighting monsters, with a decay effect per camp so you can't just sit there and /laugh for a week and get rich. poacher's needs a serious buff; taking it should broadcast to everyone that you're going to steal their whole jungle and they're gonna have to ward it or lose it all, fast. shift a bit more XP back to only the big creeps, too, to make counterjungling more effective.
