[Suggestion] - DROP OPTION FOR CONSUMABLES
I have been deeply thinking about making a cohesive arguement in favor of my suggestion and trying to get people on board. Below are some outlined talking points/benefits to my suggestion.
-
Having a more "important role" as a support. Having been in Bronze ELO for most of S4 one of the main things I hear in the lobby is "anything but support". The support role seems to have a boring and this feeling of if I have to I guess I will connotation. I am a main support and have single handeldy turned games around by getting my lane ahead. Back to the main point. If a support was able to drop an extra health potion/mana potion/ward/elixir to another summoner it would allow many more options before that first back. Also, vice versa. A ADC dropping a health potion for a support to get back to full health to initiate that first bot lane gank.

Economically benefiting the team. How many times have you had to sell a potion early to make room for that Avaraice blace for the gold income? Although health potions cost a measly 35 gold wouldn't it be nice to have your team benefit from your loss? I think allowing summoners to drop these consumables in town would allow longer laning phases, and, in turn would allow for better end games.

The element of suprise. Let's face it...EVERY ADC starts
and a
. Let's say enemy all in's at level two and your only health potion is blown. The enemey would most likely be even more agressive knowing you need to either back or they can get a kill because you have no other consumable to get you HP restored. What if a support starts two potions and can sacrifice one for you to continue, or if you have a Warwick who hasn't used both of his starting potions in the jungle and can meet you half way to drop one?
These are just some ideas I has written down that I'm trying to formulate to help people understand my suggestion. I'd like to get some player feedback if I am able to. Try to reforumlate or tweak some things if I need.
Thanks!
