Thresh has no great options for supp item

Ok, so with the new item 3302 changes and the nerf to ranged healing Thresh (as well as kind of Rakan) lose out on a lot of healing, considering the other options of item 3303 and item 3301 the only really useable ones are Relic and ancient, neither of which work that well.

while it sucks, it had to be done to stop the ADC abuse of its great sustain.

funny how adc's still found another way to screw with their support XD (jks)

I took Ancient coin on him even before the nerf to relic.

I still think it is better

It can be, but many Thresh players like to roam and ancient coin really discourges that, in addition to the sightstone removal really hurts roaming supports.

What nerf to ranged healing? I must have missed that in the patch notes.

Relic healing halved for ranged champions, because of the dual relic meta that popped up recently.

IMO, as a support i liked getting a bit of extra gold.

Ooooh that. Yeah dissapointing that I can't look foward to getting a little bit of heals from my ADC just doing his job and CSing as usual. But cool that Alistar won't sustain as much anymore. IMO the answer to "sustain or tank/cc?" shouldn't be "why not both?".
