I've just finished my ranked flex placements. This matchmaking for this game mode is atrocious. In the same game I had a challenger 300LP and a bronze V.

I went 7-3 in my placements and was placed into platinum 1 from plat 5. I didn't have a high me and I feel like I was placed too high. Cause my diamond friends are being placed into gold with more or less the same score.

What is going on???

Your soloq rank means nothing to flex queue. Its a new queue mode and everyone starts in the same method.

Why am I placed into platinum one with a score of only 7-3?

Platinum I is the highest rank a player could get after 10 provisional games
