What is the most impactful role this season?
Just a silver scroob who wants to get a multitude of perspectives of which role is the most impactful in games.

Currently.
I wouldn't discredit Mid so much.
Mages are the only class right now thats playable (Assassins are borderline garbage, so are bruisers) that can handle an adc gives them more impact as the jungler imo.
But yes, youre right, ranged ad's and their dogs are running this game right now, better botlane wins in general and toplane is just dead.
Assassins are borderline garbage
Cuz noobs still stack lethality on them instead of building
.
U only need lethality form runes +
or
and thats enough.
Currently.
- Adc
- Jungle/support aka adc babysitters.
- Mid
- Top
basically this. adc is number one cause no matter how fed top mid or jungle is, a fed adc will melt everyones faces. jungle/sup are tied for 2 because they make sure their adc reaches that fed point mid is #3 because cc and can help adc get fed if their dominating their lane, like the jg. top is last because you cant tank for a team that's gonna be dealing no damage, and because its much too isolated to be of much help to other lanes
Well we basically went from better Jungler wins to better Bot wins
Top. Play a bruiser. Ignore team. Win by splitpushing

as a previously toplane player, this can win games, but more than likely your team will just end up feeding more teamfights and take mid for the win. babysitting the adc just does more.
If your adc is bad... they are bad. No amount of peel will make them not bad. Its a team game but by splitpushing you make those teamfights 4 v 4 or usually 4 v 3 so it still give your team an advantage while also getting global pressure and gold from towers and solo kills.
"This season" and "right now" are potentially different things, as common perception right now is adcs are in the drivers seat, but the first half of the season gave birth to the "lul adcs in 2017" meme.
Sorry! To specify, I want to know the most impactful role from this patch 7.19 and possibly onward till the pre-season
Probably adcs then, with support/jungle being close behind.
That said, it's a fiesta until high diamond or so, so if you're a good top laner but only an 'ok' adc, you'd be much better served playing a ton more top games to climb then you would be switching to adc. By the time you become a 'good' adc, you may have become a great top laner so would still be more impactful there, and so on until you're at an elo where people are actually fully utilizing the potential of their roles.
