Afks in ranked

All the time people are afking in my ranked games, last season was pretty bad, but I've had a handful already this season. Then one does it in my promo matches, to finally get out of the dreaded bronze. We obviously lose. If there would be some way to stop a loss from happening during that ranked please do. If there isn't please list why it isn't possible, or why it would be too much work.

You're thoughts are a little jumbled, but I think you're asking "Why do losses that result from having a leaver or afk in ranked count against me?" Is that right?

If so, the reason is: it would encourage leavers. An example would be if I had a bad game as a mid laner, and fed an assassin 3 kills early, my team would most likely yell at me to leave so they didn't get a loss, rather than try and win.
