please stop making "win pvp games" missions

"oh boy another one of those crybabies whining about how pathetic they are and how they can't do the missions" it's not that i wanna do them, it's just putting too much pressure.it makes me too scared to play with premades because i know how much im gonna disappoint them and tbh this kind of missions only ruins the game.... it makes the game tedious. only meta picks, one tricks and internet guides.. new match, different people yet same champions same builds same runes same attitude... I'm really sick of it. I know how these missions appeal to the nature of humans..but why must the game be so much like real life........................ isn't it sad enough already that this misery driven world is also overruled by malice and sadism? Why do u have to make missions to completely dominate others..I mean i know u can only win if u force someone else to lose and that we can't all live happily together it's not a fucking children's story and isn't the definition of success being above average? so u can only succeed if someone else fails. But this is a video game, i thought it was supposed to be fun, now everyone is too focused on winning and completely dominating their opponents that they forget fun isn't exclusive to the winners. and I just can't win..I just can't..everyone is trying way too hard for me to catch up.. I'm just never good enough, I just end up disappointing my team and humoring my opponents. also I don't focus too much on missions I just wanna play a couple of normal games.

The missions are more than doable, and if you don't want to complete them they're completely optional. No one's forcing you to anything here I don't see the issue.

If you think playing the game to win is ruining it then don't play? I mean what are the odds you get 5 random people on your team that all don't wanna win and would rather mess around all game. I wouldn't really want you as a teammate if you're not trying to win it. Why waste other people's time? I'm not trying to be an ass here I'm asking this seriously. Unless you're premade with 5, don't troll your games, and try your best to win. It doesn't have to the FOTM champions, as the meta doesn't dictate who really wins until maybe like Platish, just because people have no idea what their champion strengths and weaknesses are even if they are trying to abuse said "meta" champs. Thats why some champs have a really stupid win rate in say like bronze but are non-existent in Challenger.

Even if you try to mess around and lose the game for your teammates, eventually those losses add up and you will be matched with people who aren't good or are just apathetic to winning. It's really rare to see people with less than 40% win rate even my own is like 47% in SILVER most people "including myself" would consider me to be straight up terrible at the game but I play enough to breeze through all the missions anyways. Idk thats just my 2 cents.

You can be horrible at the game, you don't even have to win your lane. You just need to understand how to make yourself easy to carry for your teammates. Buy wards, don't get caught out, don't feed to oblivion, learn your champion strengths. You're level 141 at the moment you've played enough games to learn the basics.

i mean i win enough matches to not worry about a mission outcome

idunno about you but like.. I'm not scared of that sort of stuff and even if I were i'd never make a push to remove a feature of the game because of my subjective reality

I will say it doesn't make the game very adventurous. Like you have to fulfill the condition 'TO WIN' in order to get your points or rewards.

I will say the Beyond the Rift missions are some of the fun mission I've experienced. It didn't feel like a grind at all but it also didn't feel like something that I did anyways. There was some challenge if you had balls but it was also a treat (not like a candy bar but more of a peppermint) that you didn't have to put so much effort into getting it done.

Missions like, "Play X champ" or "Win a match without equipping summoner Flash" or "Drink an elixir in a match" Those are fun because there is a sense of breaking out of the norm. Which is really something this community could use. But games that really involve playing meta are ones that I just brush off. Because it's never something to worry about. It's just a check box that that gets checked for something I already do daily. I'm sure beginners benefit a lot from those missions but the first example of missions that are good could help EVERYONE. It'd help all players expand their champion pools, think of new strategies and build paths, and even remind them to do an extra thing they normally put off until the end of a match.

I really doubt the vast majority of people even care about the missions. They're just an extra thing that gets you small rewards. You just earn them with time.

Win a pvp match? I only know losing

What? LOL

Just don't even look at the missions. We all already know what kind of missions they'll probably be. Just play like it's ranked. Ward, do objectives, and participate in kills, try not to die. I don't think I've even looked at a single Worlds mission and I've already completed over 20.

It's a competitive game. Play something non competitive and you won't have this issue.

Just play blind pick, I play champs i barely ever play and still get wins easily, I played freaking Aurelion Sol and got plenty of wins (though I did go 0/10 one game).
