Please do not remove Twin Shadows

From what I saw in the upcoming game changes, Twin Shadows just got removed among all the changes. And what's more, it just secretly vanished without much attention or discussed reasoning.

Please Riot I ask you to not remove this item. As a long time Veigar main, I can say that I loved this item and built it every Veigar game. The CDR is really good on most mages, but the 80 Ability power was not so bad and was on par with most other items in terms of cost analysis. The movement speed was actually really nice for Veigar. It allows you to be quicker on your feet and move around at fights with more ease. A big time problem on Veigar that I had always noticed was that he had so much trouble actually getting into fights. Sure in a fed scenario you can stun a person and instantly kill them, but in a perfect world, any carry with a lot of damage can just walk in and kill people for free. Veigar can not only miss spells, but he is so squishy that taking a risk like that, even if a 1 for 1, would still not be really worth it. Not only was Twin Shadows pretty nice stat wise, but I loved the active so much. In Veigar's scenario, the ghosts were so good for catching players out, because they searched for them even through the fog of war and slowed them which set you up for an easy stun. Also, the free bush check in the late game was super nice, too.

I know that the spooky ghosts were moved to the support item and buffed, but I legitimately believe the stats were fine. I look at this not as a bad item, but just an underestimated item for a specific reason. This is much like the Frozen Mallet case a while ago. You, Riot, thought about removing Frozen Mallet from the game, but even at that time, I thought it was a fine item. However, the build path was terrible. Before changing giant's belt to build from ruby crystal, Frozen mallet actually just build out of three basic items, and big ones at that. That was, and still kind of is, an awful state for an item. If you build it with any other items in your inventory, you either fill your slots with basic items that aren't too great individually or you run out of room to buy consumables. Even it it was your first item, the break points to buy the pieces were inconvenient and Frozen Mallet wasn't exactly cheap either. Yet, back then, I honestly thought it should be kept. Frozen Mallet itself had good stats and a kick'n passive that gave ranged tops a nice edge (yet at the time I mostly just thought of top Quinn). It wasn't until competitive Gnar play involving Frozen Mallet rush for kiting that re-invigorated the item.

Twin Shadows isn't that bad either. It's main flaw is the cost efficiency in the late game. Some mages don't need the stats, but that doesn't make it useless. It just has flourished in the spotlight, that's all. And I don't see why it can't exist alongside another item with the same active. If anything, you could leave the Twin Shadows active slow to 2 seconds instead of 4, since the item is more of an offensive choice, stat wise. It just widens the options of items sense many of the stats don't completely overlap. Another option would be to change Twin Shadows. Maybe give it 15 CDR instead of 10 since mages are lacking in CDR options now. Athene's and Morellos are nice nut better for poke mages, and the Lucidity Boots lost 5 CDR. Just an Idea.

I just please ask that you listen to my plea, Riot, and consider not removing this item.

Twin Shadows' active is moved to Frost Queen's Claim.

Yes, I know. I addressed that in my post and gave reasoning in which I believe it should stay.
