Should the new AFK timer reset after a few weeks/months?

The new AFK system that riot created worked well.... but I have had a horrible time with it whenever I had to go AFK. So whenever I go AFK continuously for a few games, I have to wait every time, which I am at most part okay with, due to the fact that I make others game miserable. But... whenever I go AFK, I always have to wait 20 mins, even when I play after months. So my point is, shouldn't the AFK timer reset to 5 min after a few months. I completely understand that I make others game miserable,and I also don't feel good about it or anything, but I mean waiting 20 min's for every game for over 5 times is just too hard... should riot reset this??? Please provide some opinions on this, thank you for your time

And you mean allow people to completely avoid the punishment? A punishment only works if it is served in its entirety. The extra 20 mins should teach you to know if you have time for a game and if not!

Huh. I've went afk a couple maybe 10 or so during the past couple of months because I have an infant.

And I haven't been punished at all. Didn't even know that you could be.
