Should the new AFK timer reset after a few weeks/months?

The new AFK system that riot created worked well.... but I have had a horrible time with it whenever I had to go AFK. So whenever I go AFK continuously for a few games, I have to wait every time, which I am at most part okay with, due to the fact that I make others game miserable. But... whenever I go AFK, I always have to wait 20 mins, even when I play after months. So my point is, shouldn't the AFK timer reset to 5 min after a few months. I completely understand that I make others game miserable,and I also don't feel good about it or anything, but I mean waiting 20 min's for every game for over 5 times is just too hard... should riot reset this??? Please provide some opinions on this, thank you for your time

And you mean allow people to completely avoid the punishment? A punishment only works if it is served in its entirety. The extra 20 mins should teach you to know if you have time for a game and if not!

Like I said, reduce it not AVOID IT, of course we should suffer the punishment, but reset it back to 5 min, after like 3 months

No the punishment it number of games. If it was after a time, people would not play the game waiting it out thus avoiding punishment

No.... you don't get the point.. when they log into their account, they will have to suffer the punishments from before, meaning they will have to wait the previous 20 mins, but after words, the punishments will be reduced to 5 mins.

I'm not sure you understand the punishment. You are given a 20 min restriction for a set amount of game. Then it goes back to normal queue. That is how it works! if you still have it, you have not played enough games!

Huh. I've went afk a couple maybe 10 or so during the past couple of months because I have an infant.

And I haven't been punished at all. Didn't even know that you could be.
