I rage a lot, how do I deal with this ;n; help a poor scrublord out

I play league since a few days before jinxes release, and I really like this game but I rage a lot. It wasn't really a problem before until the juggernaut update, mainly because of Darius, and even more in preseason 6, mainly because of some of the ADCs. I main top and support so I feel the impact more than mid mains or jungle mains I think. To me the game feels very broken because of Darius Quinn MissFortune Brand Zed Vayne and Leblanc . Worst of all people always pick them, it just seems so unfair but I see people say things like '' Darius is fine '' on various posts, but no matter what champion I play top Darius keeps outdamaging me. Darius hate has always been more present than for most champions but the counterarguments were: He has no sustain, once he uses his Q he has very little damage output for some time, he has no cc and his ult uses up a lot of his mana. But now his ult at lvl 3 needs 0 mana and has instant 100% refresh, his W is a 90% slow, his E has that little time where the pulled targets are kinda knocked up for a bit, his Q heals him 12% max hp per champ up to 3 champs for 36% heal every 5 seconds, beside that item 3071 has 20% cdr and is baisicly what every Darius get first. I could go on like that for all of these champions. I don't want to quit league but this is really affecting me, all support is welcome. Hope you all have a wonderful day =D

  1. The Champion Darius is fine but he synergies pretty well with the Talent **THUNDERLORD **so he is brocken atm like many other champs

  2. Darius heals 12% (max 36%) of his missing hp not total hp big difference

  3. http://www.lolcounter.com/ look at stats think about it what the counters are good in and try to adapt with your champion pool/ play style

  4. Ban champs you dont like if you have the chance

  5. Make a break of several minutes after a teribble game

  6. Look at Replays to find mistakes you made and try not to repeat them

  7. Dont rage about other players its not your fault

Darius restoring 12% HP (max 36%) is a problem when he hits one person late game and restores 1k.

If it's ALL because of Darius, stop going top lane. You can also do /mute all at the beginning of a game and never type and single word into the chat.

I used Darius as an example, all mentioned champions are causing me to rage much more than most other champions. Besides I don't think that stopping to play a lane because of a single champion is a good reason. Another thing that has been bugging me are the ADCs in mid and top lane. I will try to main a few champions, like vladimir, and try getting boots first to avoid his Q and E easier.

Ive had a lot of problems with Rage in the past. I've found what really helps is just joking about the entire situation. Make your friends laugh and you'll feel better. Make yourself laugh and you'll feel better

Grow up, are you really so invested in this toy that you get upset about it if things don't go you're way? What kind of a weak minded, weak willed person are you? How would you like it if you had to play with someone like yourself who just rages a lot? Stop complaining about champions for they are all fine. All champions have their pros and cons, stop bitching and figure out and exploit their weaknesses.

That's why I made this post in the first place. First of your comment is very rude, league is a competitive game and getting invested in it is what most people do. I wouldn't like to play with someone like myself who rages a lot, that's why I made this post and I never said that what I think is the only truth, I'm just saying that that's what I think.

No it only seems rude to you.

You only take the game serious enough to get angry about it but not serious enough to get good at it, see, you aren't actually taking this game serious at all, you are just emotionally attached to it.

Telling you to grow up isn't rude, its just a wake up call. You should not have to ask other people what to do about your behavior, you should simply stop acting the way you do, control yourself, if you rage then recognize that and stop it. Act as a adult and respect your fellow players.

Telling me to wake up isn't rude, although I'm not sure what to wake up from, calling me weak minded and weak willed is, considering the fact that you don't personally know me =D. The fact that I'm asking for help is proof enough that I'm trying to get better as the anger is having and effect on me while I play. Respecting my fellow players has nothing to do with this, I try to be as friendly as possible but the fact that I get angry is more of a personal problem rather than something that my fellow players suffer from, and if you think that I shouldn't ask other people for help you could stop posting on this board instead of arguing with me. I don't want you to take this in a negative light but I don't find your comments very helpful or even close to my problem to tell the truth. Maybe you misunderstood my problem, it's not that I rage a lot because of that being my nature, rather the problem is that I'm having trouble with those 7 mentioned champions, every other champion that I played against and had trouble with I managed to overcome but with these few I'm having difficulties, so I made this post. Hope this clears some stuff up =D

If your problem isn't rage then why even bring it up? It seems to be the main focus of your topic (the real point I mean, most of it is just bitching at a champion or group of champions), and its what you address in your title.

If all you wanted was help against a few champions why didn't you just ask for that?

Why not just make a title like: I need help beating x champion, please advise? And then in your post you can go into detail on what your struggles against those champions are. Seems more to the point to me, wouldn't you say so?

Well I rage because of these champs and wanted to hear peoples opinions, they just seem to be way more effective when I play against them, Brand for example, he always does so much more damage than most champs for some reason. I'm asking for other peoples opinions, as I said in the post a lot of people say that Darius is broken, while a lot of people also say that he's fine. This post is more of a mix of problems, those being: Countering said champions, me raging when I play against said champions because they seem so much stronger than most champs (that's why I asked for the countering tips), peoples opinions here (because wherever I go it's either black or white) and any other advice is welcome regarding any of said complaints.

I didn't ask you why you rage, nothing in this post addresses anything in my post.

The easiest way to control yourself is to play with 2 or 3 friends and have a good time

Smoke a bowl before you play man. Darius will rek you but you'll be like "hey man, that guy is doing good. Good job other guy. Man, I'm having so much fun" :)

Honestly, just learn to take the game less seriously. I have a hard time explaining my attitude about it to other people... I play competitively. I play to win. I don't troll or mess around in game.

But at the same time, I don't get salty when I lose. It doesn't matter. It's just a game. You literally cannot win every game. So it's natural to lose some. I think the biggest thing that helps me is to remember that I wouldn't be playing with noobs if I were better. If I weren't gold 5, these people wouldn't be in my game. So I focus on improving, instead of blaming them.

Focus on what mistakes you made in a game where you lose. Don't make that mistake again. If you constantly improve, you can climb and get away from people.

Now, as far as Darius goes, don't try to beat him in lane. He is an extreme lane bully, and he falls off later. So play to that. That's the key there.

If you're a repentant rager who is trying to quit the habit, then remember this: Losing is okay. Sure, it's not great. Nor, however, is it unbearably awful.

For the most part, nobody's trying to lose nor deliberately not trying to win. If your team isn't playing to their utmost, it is frustrating but you don't have to let it be enraging.

Likewise if there is a champion on the enemy team against whom you dislike playing. It's okay to feel disappointed but don't let it make you distraught.

In fact, even if there are trolls on your team, consider the matter in perspective. Sure, they make you cross but why let them make you furious?

Moderate your response; avoid extremes. You have the final say in how you respond to a situation. Nobody can actually "make you angry." They can make mistakes, make choices with which you disagree, or even deliberately goad you. It may be comforting to lay responsibility at somebody else's feet but in doing so, you also relinquish your own agency. You are granting other people power over your emotions. Assert control over yourself. Ultimately, you cannot assert control over anything or anybody else. You will improve your attitude, your enjoyment of the game and, I contend, your ability to affect the outcomes of your games as well.
