Loses take too many LP in bronze

I've been playing LoL for a while now and I'm finding it super hard to get out of bronze. Not because of my skills or anything, but because a lose will take 40 LP and a win will only give me 19-27 LP. That is crazy considering how hard it is to win in bronze. I started the night in promos and lost 2 games because I had a team member in each game who left. If you've ever been in bronze you know this happens all the time, or you play with someone who has no clue what they are doing. It should at least be an even trade, win for a lose. You shouldn't need 2 wins in bronze for 1 lose because it is so hard to consistently win. It would be even better if a lose were maybe 5 points LESS then a win, but then I think people who don't really deserve to be out of bronze will get out and corrupt the rest of the game. Those 2 loses though put me at around 34 LP...and I was in promo. I think the balancing of this should be addressed. I read a while back you wanted to figure out how to balance out the rankings and I think this would really help get the people that deserve to be out of bronze out. Just my thoughts. I'm not coming back to read this thread so troll all you want! Just my message to RIOT. BTW, I've never played a game as good a League. Something about it, I just can't stop!

no its not, you are thinking the the scope of "i can destroy bronze players" but not thinking "i am playing with bronze players" A 4v5 is hard to win especially when everyone is losing.

except i have a bronze smurf which i lost 17 games straight on to get to bronze 5. The idiots couldn't even tell that it was me throwing the games and blamed everyone else. after going 0-17 im like 30/26 now.

It's just a painful experience in bronze because 2 out of 3 matches you have at LEAST 1 totally worthless team member or someone who goes afk or feeds on purpose. Which makes winning consistently hard to do. And I understand the concept you are talking about with MMR and all that. I think it should stay that way in the higher tiers, but at least B3 and lower it shouldn't be so punishing. It will encourage decent players to progress where they can find team members with at least an understanding of the game and who don't rage all day, so they can get better. Better competition will help increase your skill. LoL is a team game and it's hard to just "carry" some dead beats.

The tier/division you're in doesn't matter. It's your MMR compared to the average of it (all ranks deal with it). You're just going to have to consistently win against those of equal or higher MMR than you, and not lose to those who are lower. Losing against lower opponents makes you lose more.

They also take too much LP if you are playing consistently bad in silver, gold, Plat and Diamond. Yes I have seen it happen where someone is lossing on avrage around 25 LP and only gaining around 15.

Why? Because your MMR is shot to hell.

If you lose games that you should not lose say you are Silver 3 and your teams on average MMR is around silver 3 and you lose to a Bronze 5 enemy team that will be a lot more LP gained for them and a lot more LP lost for you then a Silver 3 VS silver 3.

Basically You are playing in matches that are a lower MMR then your rank should be.

The only way out is to consistently win games more then you lose.

It isn't a matter of winning a lot more then you lose but you have to consistently win at an MMR before you are moved up.

So if you cna win say 13 of your next 20 games your MMR should go up a fair amount but you have to actually win.

Also it has been noted that there seems to be a bit of an issue where if you are on Red side the gains are greater then blue and the losses are less. I have noticed this after someone brought it up. I don't know why but it seems to be consistent in happening.

Thats probably because you yourself do consistently bad in games. I usually win around 25 lp on victory and lose 16-17 lp if i lose. The biggest lp loss came at around 24 lp when i lost my promos..
