Do objectives count towards S rank?

Lol noob here. If I'm trying to get S rank, does only KDA matter or do towers/inhibs/baron/drag count towards it too? Does red/blue buffs matter as well?

everything matters. Objectives, KDA, CS, wards placed and killed even time is a factor since you having a score of 10/0/5 and 100 cs by the 20 min is much better than having that exact same score but at the 40 min mark

A few tips for improving your letter grade.

Whenever you're about to leave the fountain, pick up a pink ward if you have an extra 75gold. Both placing pinks and destroying enemy wards is important for end of game letter grade.
Its not just about KDA, its about objectives too. Make sure you help take Dragons, Towers, and Baron(s)
WARD, WARD, WARD! Whenever your ward trinket it up, drop it in a strategic location. (ward placement does matter)
Farm CS/jungle efficiently. Goal for laners should be to average 10cs/minute (which is hard for me, but do-able)

The real formula for grades is not publicly known, and it probably is adjusted periodically. But I believe Riot has said that getting objectives is part of it. A lot of what people say about grades is speculation afaik.

it's really not, how to get a S rank? play well and effectively not just go "i killed everyone and didn't die who cares if i had 50 CS at the end of a 30 min game!" hat's not playing well, that's you getting lucky that you even managed to win
