Low elo duoing issue (Has anyone else noticed this?)

Has anyone noticed that if you have a duo on your team in ranked, then usually what happens is to make up for the "communication" gap, the matchmaking gives the non-duo team much better/more experienced players. That would make sense in higher elo, but at bronze, silver and gold, Im sorry but its ridiculous.

My last few games have been blow outs (Im gold 3), and every time its a squash match (whether its my team getting stomped or the opponent team), I always ask, do we have a duo/do they have a duo... And 9/10 times, theres a duo.

Dear riot, please understand in low level/low elo games, duoing doesn't give that big of an advantage if any, so stop making the curve of skill so different between players. If a gold 4 and silver 3 are duoing bot lane, its not fair that the top laner on the duo team is a silver 4, but the top laner on the enemy team is a gold 2. That makes literally no sense, and the silver 4 is going to just feed hard, get blamed, and then wander why hes bad, when in reality its not even his fault.

Please tell me Im not the only one who has noticed this?

bot lane goes 0-9 before 10 minutes. I check their name tags, guess what? It turns out they're duos.

Why would it be different in high elo and low elo? Can low elo people not use a mic? Also, smurfing/boosting.

^ This. I think it was originally implemented so that it was harder for smurf duo's to just drastically climb. Although it seems a bit unfair, if you're the same elo roughly (say... S2 and S4) you shouldn't be getting golds. However if you play as a S4 with a G1, you're gonna have a bad time.

I just played my remaining 2 promo wins with a bronze 2 friend (I'm gold 5 now)

Why? Because I don't want to proof myself winning games against gold2+ just so I can get to gold5.

If you duo with someone low elo and lose your elo drops drastically. If you win while duoing with low elo your mmr will barely move and your match making when playing solo will match you with lower elo players.

That's not what I meant.

What I meant was that the promo system is extremely flawed. If you got a high MMR (for the elo you're in, say you're gold 5 and have a gold 2 MMR) you will have to win against gold 2 players in your promo just to prove that you are worthy of being a gold 4.

I had that in my gold 5 promos, in that the avg rank of my teammates and the enemy team was at gold 3 to gold 2. Why should I have to win against those guys if all I want is to advance to gold 5? If I am in my gold 5 promo I should get matched against people in and with a gold 5 elo.

If you're gold 2 vs gold 4 and continue to win you'll most likely skip gold 3 to gold 1. The point of the game is to get better and play better people so I don't see why you'd care if you're gold 4 playing gold 2...they're basically the same elo anyways.

Low elo people can use a mic but don't know enough about the game to even remotely have a communication advantage. Whereas, diamond players would understand more to make calls. Plus, everyone and their mother have discord now, so its not like a duo should even mean the enemy team gets a MMR advantage.
Im telling you, if your Bronze-Gold, and you duo or you get teamed up with a duo, your going to really have a uphill climb that game.

You mean you don't know the game well that "I'm ganking your lane. go now" is difficult? Not sure what else diamond players are communicating in solo queue...

Its normal, or else duoing would be children's mode.

How is then, that most of the time the team with the duo loses? That doesn't make sense.

I duo'd my way to gold and a bit further too. Its not hard

I almost never duo anymore my winning percentage is so much better when I don't.
