How to make your in-game cursor bigger

I recently got a beautiful 28" 4K IPS Monitor and I fired up League in 3840x2160 resolution and the cursor was TINY. I was surprised that Riot did not create DPI scalability with the mouse and other in-game visuals like the minimap icons.

Poking around I've seen that there are several threads over the years with no real answers on how to solve for making your cursor bigger in game without lowering the resolution.

For Windows users I have found the answer. YoloMouse allows you to have any custom cursor you would like as well as standard LoL cursors. Here is a quick tutorial. It is REALLY easy to set this up...

  1. Download YoloMouse at https://pandateemo.github.io/YoloMouse/
  2. Watch the creator's tutuorial. Key step here is putting the awful standard cursors in a "Backup" folder and moving a better cursor pack to be the default. Don't skip this step. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGaih1yKM8o
  3. Download the League of Legends cursor pack at http://www.mediafire.com/download/85auwmzdru1aqos/LoL+Cursors.zip
  4. Copy the "Normal", "Text", and "Link" cursors to the "Cursors" folder
  5. Rename "Normal" to "1", "Text" to "2", and "Link" to "3"
  6. In the Cursors folder you should now have the 3 icons, a folder called "Backup", and a folder called "Default"
  7. Launch YoloMouse (I changed the program to always Run as Administrator)
  8. Launch League client and start game. I just created a Custom game.
  9. In-game when it shows the standard gold-glove icon, press CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-1 to toggle to the cursor you want.
  10. To increase cursor size press CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-+ or -
  11. To change the attack cursor, hover over a monster and press CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-1 again to toggle through to the red sword cursor, increase the size
  12. To change the friendly-blue cursor, hover over your turret and press CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-1 to toggle to the blue glove, increase the size.
  13. All of these settings will now be saved in-game... you shouldn't have to do them ever again.

DONE

You can play around with sizes and cursors. I actually quite like the YoloMouse cursors and am going to give them a try for a bit.

This game is so bad, HOW HAVE THEY NOT FUCKING FIXED THIS YET??? and I try to do a test game with bots, and its going to give me a penalty for leaving a game with no rewards and bots. man fuck this game so hard.

Now the next step is if we can make health bars bigger, because I judge my own health by looking at that above my model.

I installed it the way I saw it in the video but the only problem is that when I try to increase the size, the icon disappears, I mean I can still click around and it shows it's position but it isn't visible once I enlarge it. (Windows 7) item 3070

worked perfectly in windows 10, Main reason I wanted it was because 4k resolution screen, the mouse was soo small I would lose it during team fights.[slayer-jinx-wink]

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have a 4k screen and my cursor in-game was so tiny that i died much more than usual.. i just couldnt see where i was aiming.. This solution (YoloMouse) actually works great. I can make the cursor as big as i want! I really appreciate your post.

Ive installed yolo and extracted etc as directed above but it doesnt appear to be working yolo is launched but the short cuts appear todo nothing any suggestions ?

Technically speaking, this could get you banned. I'd have ran it by riot before posting on the boards advertising a 3rd party program that changes things in game.
