Now I know this was created entirely to be played as a niche pick against Zyra but with all the support changes going on the fact that it is still played, and is quite fun, does anyone have any ideas on how to give a little love to mf support without making adc mf oppressive? Just a general post to discuss her support state I guess.
Your post makes no sense. She doesnt need any "love". Play her well, (and have a sane ADC) and she's a good support already (in the way that annie and brand are "good" supports)
In summary:
Step 1: pick good adc
Step 2: Max E
Step 3: buy frozen mallet
Step 4: Win!
but for what it's worth, ashe support would be better.
Step 1: rush crit (maybe even critrunes)
Step 2: Enjoy free frozen mallet
Step 3: ult
Step 4: Win!
The issue with MF support is a lack of peel. Sure, you can build her as a carry like Zyra though but if your team needs any form of sustain, peeling or engage she will not fit the bill. She will have a terrible midgame unless she snowballed early. That is not to say you can't support with her but a lot of the things support bring to the team is lost on her. She gained value because Zyra/Malzahar was very oppressive in lane and a counterpick was needed in high LCS play because well...they are crazy like that. Bottom line, play her if you enjoy MF but don't be surprised if you find other supports have a greater impact.
I wish they would have upped the AP ratio on her E when they gutted the base damage last year.
