Climbing Rank
How does riot expect me to climb when, as soon as I get to silver 1, their algorithm starts to hit me with loss after loss. After having climbed up there winning 15 lp and losing 20-22 per loss, somehow their algorithm decides that it should knock me all the way back to silver 5. Absolutely no reason why my games should start being that bad. My wins and my losses during the climb are actual games where the skill levels between teams seems to be about equal, the wins feel like wins, the losses feel like we did our best and a few mistakes cost us the game but it was satisfactory. Then games take a complete 180 seemingly out of nowhere, but always when in the silver 1 range. Games are absolutely no contest. I could do well in my lane or dominate my lane, but that doesn't matter because every other lane is an utter loss. I don't understand it. It is an obvious, very obvious change. And there's no way for one person to carry their team to victory if 2-3 of their team is already in a position to dominate.
At the beginning of the season, for about a month or so, I can manage to be 5-10 games up with wins over losses. At some point it decides my win rate is too good, so I end the season with 10 losses over my wins. It makes no sense. What exactly could I be doing right at the beginning that randomly switches at some point to make it seem like I'm doing something wrong? At this point it can't be me, I've begun to believe the game itself is flawed. Heavily flawed.
I've played this game for years and have felt my skills have gotten better. I'm not the best, but better than most. I know my weaknesses, which shows in which champions I've gotten 6-7 mastery with, and which are still sitting within the level 1 or 2 mastery range. Then there's my ranked play rank. I'm kept in limbo in silver 5 because as soon as I get near moving up from this rank, I get kicked down. Way down. It almost makes me not want to play this game anymore because I don't think it's a matter of skill at this point, but what it could be I have no clue. I see no way out of it.
