Lux waveclear/Balance issues

I saw the post discussion about lux and the problem with buffing her E because it can be unfair. I'm not a lux player myself but wouldn't buffing the W shield (it coming back) and possibly buffing her passive help her? Why not make her passive do slightly more dmg to minions if they have marks/ as well as buff the passive dmg slightly towards champions. I think giving more interaction such as weaving in autos after using abilities will make good lux players stand out from average lux players. Isnt that a decent stop gap instead of buffing her ult cdr on kill? Edit: maybe making her passive have an extra effect like hitting her E if they are marked and you manage to hit Q they are rooted longer or E has amplified dmg and even giving her ultimate the cdr refund on kill if the champion you kill is marked with her passive.
