Warwick is the anti-hypercarry

I don't know if you all have realized this or not (probably have), but WW is amazing against hypercarries.

Just imagine: 9 minutes in, their vayne was 5/0. Now, it's lategame, and that fed-ass vayne is 33/4 and is singlehandedly shitting on your entire team. Your syndra would be of use if she didn't instantly die in 3 autos from that full build vayne, and your tanks are just getting melted. You ulti vayne, your syndra instantly 100-0's her with 6 orbs, and their team is now absolutely ass fucked without that vayne. You win the game by repeating that process over and over.

Idk what this post is I just wanted to point out one of my favorite champs strengths

EDIT: This post should be named Warwick is the most fun anti-hypercarry, in my opinion.

wouldnt that mean anyone with a stun is an anti-hyper carry? lol

That's only if no one peels you off of Vayne, which by late game is a number one priority.

Nautilus is also pretty good at shutting down all but Fiora.

Eh, old ww was better at this for 2 reasons, A: he scaled into a lategame raidboss (less ability to stick to target than new WW but insane dps/survivability/sustain), and B: his ult was more reliable, if the fed enemy carry didn't have a qss and you ulted them they were gonna die, straight up (Plus new ult is super wonky, for example if you ult at the same time raka drops her silence its probably gonna cancel the ult and use up the cooldown)

i like playing him against Vayne, because you can stick on her with your Q through her Qs and even condemn. and it's easy to land the ultimate after she comes out of stealth. Plus you are quite durable vs her with ur E.

low elo, yes, high elo either their frontline will bodyblock your ult, or vayne will simply use her QSS to cleanse out of it, if she doesn't flash or tumble it that is. Or her support/tank cc you and cancle the suppresion with that while a locket shield protects her vs the syndra burst. WW isn't that great for that job because his lockdown has to much counterplay. he's not bad at all, but if you want to shut down a hypercarry, WW is certainly not the first that comes to mind.

I say Warwick is far too unreliable and slow.

Ult is a skillshot, the farther you use it from the more likely it is to miss. It's also easily bodyblockable. His Fear also takes too long to CC someone.

And then she buys a QSS and has no issue disposing of you

New Warwicks ultimate also does a fraction of the damage it used to so it can't heal him back up mid fight or knock them doen enough to one shot easily in a fast duel fromm 100%.

Warwick suxx against hypercarry since he doesnt scale as much as he did, he is kittable very easily by a vayne and his ult is easy as well to : body block, or just tumble it, even if warwick hits vayne will probably have a qss and just laugh.

I dont know if it still works, but with old warwick, if vayne condemn at the right moment and warwick ults, the condemn hit after warwick blinks to vayne and it interrupted it.

Plus the fact vayne has true damage so she doesnt care about warwicks E this much...

item 3140 and positioning will deny you from doing that freely.

Oh look the campion has cc wow what wow good

EcchiOtakuTM6/15/2017, 7:00:44 PM1 votes

WW's ulti can and will be bodyblocked late game. Idk why the hypercarry is standing near someone for that to be apparent.

He's a great champ, but I wouldn't say amazing, however highly worth maining.
