Nerf Masteries Not Champions
I really don't understand Riot's thought process on this. New Masteries were made, which made certain champions op (mundo, brand), but now, instead of changing how the Masteries work, they think the best option is to nerf those champions. This doesn't make any sense, as later on down the road, after these champions are nerfed because of the Masteries, the Masteries will probably be nerfed anyway. Meanwhile the previous nerfs will be forgotten.
Even if that won't be the case, doesn't it make more sense to change the root of the problem instead of specific champions? I thought that was riot's stance on this issue anyway. I remember specifically they said they'd change warlords bloodlust before they changed champions. Why not change the sustain and death fire touch Masteries instead of champions?
One of my favorite champions, Swain, has a huge nerf on PBE, after not being touched for years. If Swain really is an issue, he might be, then I don't understand why they are looking at changing him in this way. Change the Masteries first, if he is still too strong, then you can change the champion. Swain's root is one of the easiest abilities to dodge in the game. Taking power out of something that has counter play makes no sense. I'd rather you take power out of his Q.
Besides that, you're nerfing swain before mundo? I don't understand anything anymore.
