Champion.gg - Shen Top Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

Shen has on both of his main positions Top and Support a 47.5% winrate. This is definetly not ok and should be addressed. Since worlds Shen is in a bad spot, because his ultimate is very good in competitive league. Riot pls Caitlin can walk around with 30% playrate and a 52.5% winrate but Shen was nerfed into oblivion. In my opinion we should revert the nerf on his Q damage so he can actuallay deal damage to enemies.

Bringing back his Q damage would cause literally zero problems. The only plausible issue in the LCS that not doing this nerf would have caused was if someone was dumb enough to stand near him, take an awful trade that Shen happens to be good in and have him win. Keep in mind that Shen telegraphs SUPER hard that he his trade is empowered, that he actually has cooldowns, and that he is among the least sticky melee champions in the game.

His damage was not the problem, it's very clear that Riot did this to make sure that he's not in the LCS. Knowing that there's a chance this won't ever get reverted should be a cause for concern, yet apparently outside of this thread everyone is fine with it. Is it not ridiculous that multiple Riot employees looked at that and said it was okay?

Not that I disagree, but I'm just curious to see if you agree with the specific numbers.

Shen is my most played champ, recently started picking him support. I do agree with you that he still needs slightly more buffs.

How about reducing his energy costs?
