Champion.gg - Shen Top Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

Shen has on both of his main positions Top and Support a 47.5% winrate. This is definetly not ok and should be addressed. Since worlds Shen is in a bad spot, because his ultimate is very good in competitive league. Riot pls Caitlin can walk around with 30% playrate and a 52.5% winrate but Shen was nerfed into oblivion. In my opinion we should revert the nerf on his Q damage so he can actuallay deal damage to enemies.

Bringing back his Q damage would cause literally zero problems. The only plausible issue in the LCS that not doing this nerf would have caused was if someone was dumb enough to stand near him, take an awful trade that Shen happens to be good in and have him win. Keep in mind that Shen telegraphs SUPER hard that he his trade is empowered, that he actually has cooldowns, and that he is among the least sticky melee champions in the game.

His damage was not the problem, it's very clear that Riot did this to make sure that he's not in the LCS. Knowing that there's a chance this won't ever get reverted should be a cause for concern, yet apparently outside of this thread everyone is fine with it. Is it not ridiculous that multiple Riot employees looked at that and said it was okay?

The patch notes explaining why they did this was even stupider. "If you want to do damage on a champion that is designed enitrely around percentage damage just build flat damage instead it's exactly the same" WOW JUST BUILD DAMAGE ITEMS ON A CHAMPION DESINGED TO RELY ON BUYING RAW TANK STATS LMAO

According to Riot Games who are the creators of League of Legends™ the one champion who is a tank-fighting tank fighter can not have the one ability that actually lets him accomplish his niche be good. Other fighters are fine with having literally everything a melee fighter would want though.

Not that I disagree, but I'm just curious to see if you agree with the specific numbers.

And I wanted to show anyone who was unaware of what his most recent Q nerf was.

This is what I'd undo yeah. He was nerfed specifically for worlds, but he wasn't even played in soloq all that much and after this nerf he completely disappeared.

Yea exactly, I would say that we should bring it back to 7% of the targets maximum health instead of 5%. I dont know if thats enough to make him balanced again. Maybe increase the shield value, when you cast abilities would be nice too. I love to play Shen and it hurts me to see him in such a bad state. Riot only nerfed him, because he saw competitive play.

It would. Doing this would make the 100% guaranteed nerfs he's getting later this year more acceptable, and should this happen it'll make Riot realize that his Q wasn't even the problem on him to begin with. If his Q remains this crap despite being what Riot focused on in his core playstyle update then there's no reason why the it should've happened in the first place Too bad Riot doesn't revert stuff HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHASHJASCkasevfuck

Yea Im totally for a revert. He wasnt even oppressive in solo q and had a very small pickrate. Instead of nerfing Syndras broken ultimate or Jayce burst, Rito decided to nerf Shen lol.

Are you trolling? Your post is kinda funny and I giggled a little bit. I give you props there, but 7300 games are enough to make a statement about the champion. Most Shen players are his dedicated mains and even they have a low winrate with him. Also why are you so salty and triggered? xD 5% difference in winrate is huge and you see it as nothing haha. Now I see where you are coming, you are the no-lifer, who wanders around the boards and insults other people. You are a retard for not seeing that Shen needs buffs or a revert.
