Placed in Bronze Five?

I think I put this in the right spot. Not used to forums really. If its in the wrong place please tell me.

To the point, I finished my provisional's today and I am in Bronze five. I was previously in Bronze three, I think. I won five out of five and in all but one or two I did good, some even great. Last season my win loss/ratio was about 1-2. I am really quite confused about this. If my win/loss ratio was bad last season, and this season its good, why was I placed in Bronze five? To me, it doesn't really make sense.

Any insight on this would be great. :)

if you go even you're supposed to end up somewhat lower than you were last season.

Obviously I am going to work my way up if I can. But I still want to know exactly why this happens.

shrug Riot's current system.

From what people are saying, that is about right. From what I have seen on the forums, most people who go even go down a few ranks.
