Kindred Needs More Intimidation

Kindred is supposed to be the twin essences of death and in the current state Lamb and Wolf don't exactly seem like it. The champs design and mark system for getting additional bonuses is great and I love that about the champ. However, I've noticed marks for champions don't seem to do a whole lot. Most champions completely ignore it unless you're right on top of them. I feel being the essence of death the mark system for champions should be more pronounced or dramatic. Good examples of this are Warwick and Rengar. You know Warwick is coming after you due to the music change and the sense of panic you get when the screen changes. Same with Rengar as the screen darkens. Kindred's marks just seem to be a kind of "oh hey I got marked" but there is no urgency to back them up. I think adding more ambient sound something like a drum or a bell building up in sound as the mark is targeting a champion. I'd like to know what you all think and thanks again : )

I think as you get closer to death the edges of your screen sound start to blur or darken - but only when Kindred is near.

That could seriously mess with clarity, I think, especially in a teamfight. I'd start with only marked target seeing some screen wide vfx.

Hmmmmm actually, the whole concept of Kindred was scrapped after all the patches they went through. At the beginning, they weren't mean to be the "unescapable and intimidating avatar of death" like you seem to believe, it was supposed to be the ranged jungler kite god where the concept was "death will always follow you and if you deny it, it will kill someone else to come back harder on you". Yes, the mark's current behavior is bad, it always been. But no, it shouldn't be menacing nor dramatic like omg omg I'm gonna die I have to do Something to prevent it, instead, it should be Something more about bullying and growing aggressivity: the longer the mark is on you, bigger is Kindred's threat on you (like a buff or Something), the faster they will come get you, and you have no way to know when. To be honest, proximity things like Rengar's ult or warwick's chasing would be really bad, I can just imagine like the colors of the environment on your screen slowly fading to black and white the longer you are marked, and possible illusions occuring (fake and mist-like kindred forms coming out of the bushes like garen in old doombots), and each time you get shot with Lamb's arrows, your screen very quickly flash white with every hit, and black with every wolf's bite, just enought to deny some visibility to give the credit to Kindred: the longer you deny it, the easier it gets for death to kill you

Honestly I think SHE'S the one who should have the instant death ult, not Urgot. Having wolf suddenly chase down the lane to kill a low health target viscerally would have been sick.

Oh, that could actually work really well with the theme! Like, have the ult require a health threshold like Urgot's, but it can only be used on a marked target, and the longer they're marked/in combat with Kindred while marked, the higher the health threshold becomes (the longer they fight their death, the more likely wolf is gonna come and tear them apart).

Like, it starts at 5% to activate, or something (a low number), and increases by, say, 1/2/3% each second, up to, like, 20/35/50% over 15 seconds of combat with Kindred. Maybe 10% base, rising to 20/30/40% over 10 seconds.

And, maybe give it a reset mechanic for kills with the ult, so you can immediately mark someone else (they start at the low threshold).

That would be epic!

50%, You mad man!

But yeah, that would of been cool.

Only at rank 3, and only after 15 seconds in combat with Kindred specifically, and only if they're marked. But, yeah, the 40% is probably better.

I think about reverting her passive

It ruins her early game, and no ones scared about getting marked anymore, and that map pressure is gone forever now. Tanks arent scared of her anymore because they know if shes fed with marks it still wont cause an impact. No ones scared of range except tank. Anyone else seeing you kite them will be like "Hey stop that you little fly"

but kindreds old passive was bad early game as well though

Quite frankly I had no idea that Lamb (Wolf doesn't do anything lul) was death itself until someone told me. I know that they are hunters, but I never consider them to be a threat at all. It's just another squishy that's slightly harder to kill due to her ult. I actually think more of Nasus when I think of a god of death, especially after his new scary buffs. In Kindred's case she doesn't fit her theme at all. Nobody fears Kindred, and once you're marked it's practically a "oh I am about to get ganked, please come and countergank" sign. Predicting Kindred's route is too easy, and due to her weak early game just about any jungler will pounce on her and devourer "death" itself. Pick one of these and you shut her down early gameLeeSin Elise Rengar

actually i think it would be best like flute or bells to represent lambs mysterious nature and drums for wolf and either will play depending on a factor (which i cant think of because lamb does most of the work so wolf doesnt even feel like a partner... ;-;)

Maybe decrease vision and damage from other sources when activated.

I don't know/
