So Wukong isn't ready for 10.1

So since may 2019, they have had time to :

-create Sylas, Yuumi, Senna, Qiyana, Aphelios, Sett -fully rework Pantheon, Kayle, Mordekaiser -update Diana, Garen, Shaco, Morgana, etc... -create TFT I guess that increasing a little bit Wukong while the developpers are working on his udpate is a trivial thing. But I think the worst thing is to know that he is not full reworked. More than an half-year to give him a shield when the community prefers the previous rework... WTF?

WOW more then half a year for a shield and magic damage on the e wow.

Yeah wtf is taking them so long. Like riot kept saying they didn't have enough people for new assets which in my opinion was fine since it did come when they would of been working on preseason BUT THAT WAS THE FIRST ONE you know the one where he actually had changes.

Like why scrap something after possible feedback from the community and making us wait so long FOR SOMTHING A LOT SMALLER.

Like I fucking swear if it comes out and it's basically a shield and magic damage on the they're trolling us.

There was no reason that small of changes couldn't have come sooner.

Wukong was a minor project worked on by Riot Lutzburg with a very tiny team in their spare time. So, yeah it's why it's kind of going to take awhile.

Riot in Spring of 2019: Wukong rework planned for summer. Riot in Summer of 2019: Wukong rework postponed, but it should be ready as soon as we fix the animations. Riot inWinter of 2019: We decided to scrap the original rework and went in another direction with it, but it should be ready by the end of the year.

It is now January of 2020 with mere days away from the new season. Honestly, at this point, I'd rather they just admit they obviously cannot do the job they said they would, scrap the whole thing, and assign more dedicated team members to a full VGU rather than make us wait for an entirely lackluster mini work that has yet to be realized.

Be happy they aren’t canceling his gameplay update and ignoring him for 7 years like they have been doing with Karma. The biggest upset and insult is when they had the nerve to say that it sometimes happens when 5 new champions get released within 6 months and another Ryze rework. It doesn’t happen like that unless they choose to do it that way and ignore champions.

Be happy about the attention Wukong is getting since champions like Karma get nothing but excuses and back and forth buffs/nerfs.

Simple answer: Karma mains will be upset no matter how a rework project turns out, so they just aren't going to do one.

Well, Wu isnt only champ in lol, nor he is the center of universe. Ye, riot should more focus on dealing up with older things before they start to add something but there are plenty of champions that are in need of rework and Riot continues reworking them how it comes in handy and also Wu inst in such need of rework as other champions, like these: fiddlesticks, janna, malphite, malzahar, nasus, skarner, singed, teemo, tryndamere, volibear + others that need diana sized rework or just an update on spells.

Imagine thinking riot is one team who does everything. the naivete. The reality of it is riot functions like many corporations; compartmentalized into small teams that make up departments who dont usually interact with people outside their team and rely on leadership/management to coordinate things beyond their immediate duties.

CHampion reworks =/= champion development =/= art =/= internal balance =/= live balance =/= pro curcuit staff =/= legal, etc, etc. People might get moved from time to time and individuals may ask each other for help or input - such as the sound team working with a designer to get the right sound they imagined - but largely each team does it own schtick. This is further split by the fact some reworks/changes are pet projects of certain rioters. Due to the scale of the wukong changes, id gurantee its someones pet project after the initial large scale rework was canned to due lack of popularity for the champion.

you should enjoy yuumi + wukong while it last once they rework him its going to be utter trash.

Hahaha it's funny in hindsight. It's really trolling, I cant make this up. Honestly, I would really like to trust that the right thing will be done for this champion, but at the same time I've kind of given up on Riot ever doing something like that for Wukong.

Let's hope I'm wrong.
