anyone else feeling ranked is rigged by riot?

for the last 6 months my match history always follows the same pattern, im not joking, i literally go on a winning streak get promoted, then the next 5 matches are guaranteed losses then demotion, its the same pattern for the last 6 months, win get promoted then lose and get demoted, its always the same, i would understand if my wins and losses were all over the place, but losses are always in a streak, so i literally go through demotions and promotions 10 times more the anyone else,

And im not just talking about the matches i lose being rigged but also the ones i win,. the matches i have after i get demoted are incredibly easy, honestly i feel those are rigged for me to win, probably 2 out of 10 wins i feel like i won cause me and my team played good, the other 8 feel like they were rigged to be easy wins, like i said win get promoted then lose get demoted, the same pattern repeats over and over again,

everyone tries to deny it and of course riot will deny it, , but the system is broken and its rigged, designed to keep certain players on top and certain players at the bottom, no matter the skill level.

This is literally a topic everyone tries to ignore, and especially riot,

yep got promoted, lost 4 in a row like the 100 times before, 2 of them had afks of course, yep ranked is rigged, get promoted, then its guaranteed 4 losses in a row, then get demoted, rinse and repeat, same thing every time

I climbed 5 divisions the other day then suffered a series of afk/int'ers and demoted twice. Can't explain it.

Always ask yourself the question, why? Why would they put effort into making people loose on purpose? They have no gain from it.

that is true, but still

Putting extra work into rigging matchmaking serves Riot no purpose and would cost them money to do so. There are millions of players outside challenger and to design an algorithm to purposely do what you describe would be quite a bit of resources. What's much more likely is you go on win streaks because youre a tad better than your MMR and it keeps matching you with better players every game and then you hit a point where theyre just better than you. Unless youre the best player in the world or near there youre going to have close to a 50% winrate when youre at the ELO you deserve to be at.

I strongly believe that it is rigged to match you with players that are more likely to lose/win a game.. Let's say i start in silver 3 and start moving up to silver 1 with no problem, wining ever game with literally no struggle and beating everyone 1v9 at that point i will start loosing and falling back to silver 3 with literally no games won and then repeat the process until i make it to let's say gold 5. The thing that got me even more convinced that this thing is real are players that i get matched when im on a losing streak/winning streak. When a winning streak hits players on my team are 100% of the time positive, roaming, not typing much and most importantly not flaming. When a losing streak hits players on my team out 5 of them 2 are 100% going to be toxic, bad or int. Lets get the 1v9 stuff out of the equation because the game is meant to be 5v5 with teamwork and think about a long losing streak/wining streak i play the same no matter what the only thing that is different is the 4 people i am playing with one second i feel like i cant be stopped literally crushing everyone in my path witch is the result of my team playing good and me being able to follow up even better and the next i can't do absolutely anything with 0/7 yasuo on top in the first 5 minutes. I also see the same pattern in platinum let's say but there is more chance of coming back out of a lost game. And let's not start on players roaming, laning phase and general play style on a losing streak you get no jungle, mid roaming towards you and you get 4 enemy players on your lane before the 10 minute mark no matter what without your team even responding. You can clearly see the difference in players mentality when on a losing/wining streak.

LOL You are absolutely right. It's 100 percent rigged. I understand the fact that you get better so you will play against other better players. However when I have been on my loss streaks I have had at least 2 trolls on my team if not 4. And the entire team that I am playing against is so coordinated it feels like they are scrimming. It's completely rigged.

I think it's all just coincidence. I have had promos that felt like I had a wood team playing against a team 2 tiers higher. I've had promos where I've been on the 2-tier higher team. It's just that old misperception because bad things tend to be remembered more than good.

Their system that decides what players you should see in game is why you feel this. If you start improving as a player it will place you with better people, and if you start doing worse it puts you with worse people. Allies and enemies are pulled from the same pool, which is why someone dodging can make someone who was in your pregame lobby show up on the other team.

This system artificially pushes your win rate to around 50%, not because Riot wants us to have a 50% win rate, but because that is an inevitable outcome to trying to match people with equally skilled players. If you don't actually get better at the game, but you go on a win streak, the game still thinks you got better, so it puts you in with better people, which generally leads to a few losses. The only way to break this cycle is to actually improve at the game, so that you can hold your own with those better players.

No one tries to deny that this happens, including Riot. What people deny is the intent to make players lose. The goal here is to create a fair play environment for the largest amount of players possible, not to force players to lose when they go on a winning streak.

You don't think that maybe you're just at the rank where you belong?

thats harsh, but maybe its true, but i dont know for sure, because 80% percent of my matches always has a afk and feeders, im not joking ive literally seen a afk on the enemy team like 2 times, mine? theres 7 in every 10 games, and i dont mean players that feed but sitll help, i mean players that go 0/7 and dont help the team at all, every game i try my best, but most of them im not even given a fair chance to win them

The next time you get promoted, try playing much safer. Refuse to be the reason your team loses. Trade in lane, but don't go for all ins if they're not certain things. Otherwise only go for it when your jungle is ganking. Some of my worst games start off the best - I'm bullying my lane opponent hard and have a certain kill, flash ignite auto and they'll die from ignite, only for the enemy jungle to flash on me and kill me and my opponent survives from triumph (literally happened the last game i played).

If you don't die much at all, i doubt you lose 5 games straight. Still win your lane (out farm, pressure, map presence) but otherwise play generally safe. Don't go for risky plays late game. Don't get caught alone late game. See if the change works for you.

thats funny, just got promoted again for the 100th time, but ive already lost 3 in a row, the next one will be a guaranteed lost i bet ya and ill get demoted again, its how it always goes, 2nd match thresh support went afk for no reason, just like 80% of my matches, funny ive seen a enemy player go afk and the last one just now, yasou fed so hard and jg never helps, we had no choice to ff, me and brand played good bot, but it doesnt matter how well i play, its always straight losses every time i get promoted

I lose the same way almost everytime. It happens to me so much recently it's predictable. I start in lane well. Then other lanes feed and afk. Then the battle within my team starts. The competition for cs. 4 different players jump in to steal my gold. And all game they rush to push hard. I barely can farm. Even supports get up towards 100 cs. Every fight I'm out numbered. Every fight in every game. This is not people being incompetent. The game is intentional targeting me to lose. It's crazy. Different people with different names always responding exactly the same. I try to change what I'm doing. But it's NOT what I'm doing. It's just ME that is wrong. It must be my ip. It must be riot employees doing it.

They are doing something. I'm sure of that.
