Hextech crafting

Hello, well i am a little confused about hextech crafting, exactly in shards, they have commonly colourfull dots, signs and other things, what does they mean?

The colors indicate if they are rare, legacy, or legendary skins. They'll also tell you if they are Legacy Skins, which are generally not sold anymore so they are more rare. Not sure what colors go with what yet, no one seems to know as I've asked around myself and nobody has the answer. But you can also get Gems which when you get 10 you can unlock Hextech Annie, or you can use 3 Skin Shards to do a random, which has a small chance of making it. It's all just random chance.
