Question about celerity

So i was running some tests on ahri in the order of no item > lv2 shoes(45 ms)> luden(10% ms) >lich(7% ms) my movements were: 330-375-413-434 and with celerity: 340-386-422-443

(330+45)*0.03=11.25 extra ms from rune the first two numbers made sense, and why did it drops to only 9ms after getting ludens echo?

also my Q boosts my movement speed which will then increase my ap using this rune. so will the bonus ap affect the Q itself?

The Q damage is determined upon using it. You get movementspeed while your Q is traveling, but it does not increase the damage, as the spell was already used.

Good question It is because movement speed get's less powerfull if you get more of it.

The first movement speed items you get pretty much increase your movement speed by 100 percent of what they are supposed to be giving, but to prevent a characeter from moving too fast they started capping off higher movement speeds a bit. It works that way with armor and magic resist too.

the exact formula is this:

Movement speed caps

When the raw movement speed is greater than 415, there are two soft caps applied:

  • The raw speed between 415 and 490 gets multiplied by 80%.
  • The raw speed over 490 gets multiplied by 50%.

Movement speed adds always scale multiplicatively with one another. the more percentage bonuses you get, the smaller the differences are step by step, because they all calculate multiplicated from the highest flat value.

This change was made very early in S7 when hecarim E got his movement speed growth changes i believe.
