Alternate Role on Kalista?

I'm just thinking out loud (and apologies if this comes across as a stupid thought), but the more I've been thinking about Kalista's kit, the more I've been seeing it possible for her to fit a niche support role. While this would give up her AD scalings to a degree (and I'm aware how uncommon an AD support is), but as someone that mains support, her kit does seem appealing.

• Q: decent poke in lane after getting a few levels on it, as its damage at lv 1 is almost purely from its AD ratio
• W: supplements your partner's damage with a decent burst from the passive, as well as providing extra vision to complement your wards. As a side-note, placing a sentinel from the entrance to the dragon pit and facing it north along the river would also provide some decent vision to Dragon as well as both Jungle entrances.
• E: Not really too much help for a support role, admittedly, but would add an extra tick of damage after W procs or a poke with Q
• R: Would allow you to re-position your partner into the fight as well as giving them some CC in the form of the knockup. Additionally, for ADC's with a larger-than-average auto-attack range (Caitlyn and Tristana come to mind) would still be at a safe distance from the enemy after engaging. This ability also could provide a rescue for an ADC after they have already engaged with their kit and have no mobility of their own.

While she doesn't have the most CC, I could see it functioning as a weird kill lane. Just a few thoughts, and I don't think it would be terribly viable. Just some musings on the kit provided and some alternate usage that could be gotten out of her.
