Why do you need east coast servers?

I live in Oklahoma, I have the same ping as everyone I play with that doesn't live near the pacific. Why is everyone who lives on the east coast complaining about (if they even notice because it's a non-issue to begin with) their ping being 100ms?

My ping is 100ms. It never changes. Everyone else seems to think people are having better connections than others outside of cali. If you live on the west coast or adjacent to riot, you're gonna have a low ping. If you dont live near them, you're gonna have about the same ping.

Quit crying, it's damn annoying.

No, you just have shitty internet....

I started playing LoL back in early S2 with a consistent 45-50 ping.

Same computer, same house, better internet. I average 115-125 ping now.

I live in VA and get 20-30 ping to the LAN server.

And you're misinformed. Many East Coasters DON'T WANT an east coast server. We want the NA server relocated to somewhere in the Mid-West, like Texas or Colorado.

Think of it like this:

When you're standing up, your feet are close to each other, right? But if you wanted to drag a finger from one foot to the other without breaking contact, you'd have to climb one leg, cross the hip, and go down the other.

It's still your feet, it's still your lower body, but the distance you have to travel is absurdly long for how close the two points are.

What we want is to centralize the start location, in the proverbial sweet spot (the hip, giggity).
