Arams have become a fixture in League since their accidental success from an april fools' joke and I think it's time we get to take them a bit more seriously. I think All Random All Mid should have it's own ranking ladder. Maybe make the requirements be that players own at least 30 champions to play to make it a bit more fair.

People primarily play ARAM because it is easy, noncompetitive and requires almost no strategy..
Minarde2 votesDefinitely need a way to dissuade ARAM-only accounts from abusing champ select for easy climbing. Unlocking all champs would be one possible option. Aside from that, it'd be a nice way for ARAM players to show off their skill.
Randomness doesn't invalidate the competitiveness, as other random games (like card games) seem to work fine. It's not like complaining about bad luck is new to League either (See: all the complaints about elo hell).

Not to mention certain champions are just better suited for it, and then we'd get ARAM-only accounts that would quickly crowd out any newcomer...

Dynikus1 votesThe only way I could see this working is if champion select wasn't random. Having a competitive game mode where you can be put at a significant disadvantage thanks to rng sounds like a great way to start a lot of threads whining about how unfair aram is.
