TLDR: Quitting because of Promo's.

Yes most of you will consider this QQ and most of you will probably downvote and that's okay. After these recent placement matches I just refuse to climb AGAIN to where I was.

I ended last season in Gold III around 50LP. Comfortable, not bad. This season I go into Placements and end up going 5-5 (Was 2-5 but a nice winning streak to end it). Where do I go? Silver II. And we're done. Played two games there and had a Fizz who raged because I took a kill from him as jungle shaco and had a graves who had no idea that graves has #1 burst early on and is the tankiest ADC so we lost both games by a blowout.

I can't do it again. I am a gold player and I believe I deserve to be there. Logic dictates if you're in a division and go 5-5 then you absolutely belong there. That's perfectly where you should be and instead I end up in a place where I have to fight through one promo then a divisional promo then two more promo's to get to where I was and it's just not fun anymore.

This is an alt character since for some reason I can't logon my main on these forums (and no, I wasn't banned, have only posted here twice before) but my main is TommyPots. I went ahead and linked the lolking for you that shows just how much a dive my stats took for going 5-5.

So goodbye Riot.You truly had me interested for over 5 seasons now and the early beta access but I can't do it again. Uninstalled the game. Will probably follow LCS still but I just can't do it again.

not trying to be mean but u are 5 and 7 this season against that division. I mean i know its not just u out there bu maybe thats a sign that you either belong in that division or you should step up as shot caller and help your team win more. Take what you have learned from your league last season and apply it here and u will get out. I know it can be frustrating when u end up in a league u dont feel u belong in but every game with a ladder system does this. I played starcraft 2 for years and was in diamond league and every time the season reset i never once placed above gold and had to work my way back up. It never took as long as it did the first time because i developed as a player

  1. Is ranked the only reason you played the game? If you think your MMR is messed up in ranked, play normals! Uninstalling seems like the wrong solution to your problem.
  2. There's a good chance that bad players will sink themselves back down to Bronze in a few weeks, and the good ones will rise up. You could wait a while before trying again to see what happens.
  3. You found one rager and one person who was playing a champion they don't know like the back of their hand and you're quitting over that? You'll run into people with attitude problems at every level of play, you just got unlucky.

I'm sure I could go on, but to be brief it seems like there's something that you're not telling us. If your friends got tired of playing League or all you played was ranked or you don't like the game anymore, that's fine. What are you not mentioning here?
