So I came back to this catastrophe of reworks - Rito why?
So I've decided to come back to League after roughly a year of absence, and what do I find but that Rito has ruined just about everything they ever made.
Nothing really new here, they've never been the same since they started this whole "Season" bs.
My most recent issue, and realization is that Soraka the Star Child got a rework. Oh dear lord Rito... wtf is wrong with you? I mean seriously, I'm looking at this and I just don't see what your goal was here. I hope it wasn't intentional to completely butcher the most core fundamental support of League since the beginning, right?!
I'm late to the party, this I know but my frustration is fresh and seething. Honestly, I could get over the fact that infuse was deleted completely from the game, the fact that they completely removed one of the few UNIQUE abilities this game ever had. Poof, with what I hope was not a long brainstorm because that in itself is just god awful. Nay, that was not enough for you Rito. You had to go and butcher her as a viable combatant on the field as well, who the hell decides to make a heal only usable on allies? Who the hell removes a champions capability of assisting themselves? Okay, so she's nerfed into the ground and has to heal allies only.. okay Hratis, you can work with that. Oh WAIT, you can't heal your allies if you're below a certain health threshold!? OH BOY, THAT'S SO USEFUL - for the opposing team that was smart enough to just not play this god awful rework of a perfectly well designed original champion... thanks Rito, just thanks a lot for ruining everything this game used to be every damn time I come back. #endrant #RitoPlz
"Thing is, people were getting sick and tired of old 'Raka. She was healing away misplays and mistakes of her laning partner with no cost beyond maybe a mana potion. What's more is that she was actually starting to dominate solo lanes because of her self-sustain. Mid lane, the targeted silence had no counter, top lane she would push waves and sustain all day long, and there was talk of people JUNGLING with Soraka.
The only solution without changing her kit was to nerf her, and she ate those nerfs hard. Post rework, she's actually in a better spot than she was before, AND people LIKE it. You are of the few that do not." - KidSpectre
Thanks again to KidSpectre for providing a more clear representation of the good side of her rework.
, for example. She is a good champion right now, not used all the time, but is still good in team fights and has good sustain. Just accept what it is and appreciate what Riot's done. You gotta let things go. Lol.
