Janna's Howling Gale Clarity Tweak

As a player who absolutely loves Janna, and has enjoyed playing her since all the way back in Season 1, I often find myself playing Janna in solo-queue Normals (pretty much the only way I play, admittedly) with players who don't really understand how Janna works. Worse, it's nearly impossible for many of them to anticipate exactly what Janna is planning in many instances. One of the things an ally can never really understand is what you're doing with a tornado you left on the ground. Certainly, a lot of the time you're simply going to doubletap the Q for an instant knockup that simply does the job of peeling, but I also -greatly- enjoy using tornadoes to bait and trap and the like... getting the full benefit of the additional charge time of setting it up and using it -well-.

The problem with this, of course, is that it can be nearly impossible for your ally to predict what your intention is with a tornado, and worse still, impossible to capitalize on it. Enter my playing Syndra on ARAM a few times. For those of you who don't know, there's a tiny little indicator on Syndra's Dark Sphere that shows which way the Dark Spheres will go if she uses Scatter the Weak. Barely more than a little arrow... but it allows a player with any degree of attention to detail to know where they're going to fling those little orbs. Only Syndra (to my knowledge) can see these little visual hints, but they make understanding the character much easier.

Enter Howling Gale. While Howling Gale spins up, aside from the person who uses it, absolutely no one can know which way it's going to head (so far as I know), unless you see which way Janna faces before she goes on about her business... something that can be incredibly difficult to track. Simply adding an indicator visible only to allies such as what is used for Syndra orbs, mostly transparent, but still there, will -greatly- enhance Janna's quality of life and teamplay capabilities. It will clarify precisely where an Ally should stop when kiting for maximum effectiveness. As an added bonus, you could add additional arrows to it that fade in as it charges, possibly only for Janna to see (though I'm not sure whether that would be necessary at all) , so that the players can have a direct visual cue of how long it's been charging, how far it will travel, and which direction it will travel in.

While my intent is that it's a tiny little indicator on the edge of the tornado, I could also see it having a more visual field indicator to show the path the tornado will take if released -right then-. The first seems significantly easier, and limits visual clutter. The latter would go a long way towards helping newer Janna players to learn their ranges.

I like this idea a lot. And its actually a real QOL thing too.

Riot, you should have done this a long time ago. Not knowing where your allied Janna is sending that tornado can BREAK a play.

Please get it out by next patch, even if you have to delay a day or two.
