Farm Scripts?

Anyone else get 6 A.I. games in a row with scripts for leveling Essence and hitting LvL 30 for smurfs? I'm trying to teach a friend how to play and what to do and its very difficult when its a 2v5 against Intermediate A.I.s. See it in Intro as well which is easier to learn, but no actual challenge to figure things out. I know PvP is the best way to learn, just very frustrating that from LvL 1 we have to deal with this to at least grasp a concept of the game.

Report them after the game for heating and write their "bot" behaviour in the comment box. Riot does indeed ban them but people keep making more bots. With the start of S8 soon it'll be a bit worse for the next month or so unfortunately.

from the couple smurfs i made, I noticed the bots.

Indeed they just keep making more though.

It seems like the amount that are ever reported is never significant enough to squander the efforts of more arising

  • so probably it's an issue that riot should address in a different matter than simply banning bots

-perhaps something like a 'captcha' (for bot games only) could be a useful tool for weeding out those using 3rd party botting programs to level accounts

No, there are far less bots than there used to be. They spike in numbers slightly around the end of preseason and a month before ranked rewards.

The problem is best addressed by making accounts easier for people to make "playable" by themselves (i.e. get rid of some grinding in the new player experience) like they did last year.

If the market for sale is gone, the bot sellers will stop making them (no demand).

Now we just need the word of the 1-30 grinding being gone to spread.

No way in hell. That would just shift the bots to PVP bro.

Pardon my language, but NOBODY wants to input a captcha before they play. That's just ridiculous and it doesn't even address the problem.

It just accomplishes pissing off the Ai players.

The only ones that notice that they're bots are the smurfs. Most new players think they're just new players too, so it doesn't actually ruin their experience.

New players actually don't mind losing Ai games (despite what people want to believe). They're still exploring the game and having fun looking at the champs and scenery.

Then once a smurf ends up with the bot they report the bot and it gets banned in a ban wave.
