Last season if you want 1/1 or 2/2 in a day I thought you got around +3-10 ip, or atleast stayed even. Now I go 1/1 or 2/2 and lose up to 8 ip? I have a positive win lose ratio, decent kda, and don't duo often, so is there an other reason for this or is this just how it is? ty
Depends on how your games compare to your MMR (Matchmaking Rating). Every win or loss raises or lowers both your MMR and your LP. If you're finding that you consistently lose more LP than you gain, then perhaps your MMR right now is lower than the average MMR for your current rank.
If you lose games against opponents with much lower MMR than yours, you'll lose more LP than normal. Same in reverse; winning games against supposedly much more skilled opponents increases your MMR while granting you higher LP gains.
Basically, if you maintain a 50/50 win/loss ratio indefinitely, you'll wind up at the appropriate rank for your skill level.
