well it could be the hardware ... the pc... if your processor cant handle the data it will suffer in graphics
tune down the graphic settings in game and it should stabilize
thanks ill try that
fyi windows 10 sucks rooster ... i want 7 back

10 is fine after you fix all the incompatibilities, which takes less than 5 minutes.
Runs better than W7 even.
incompatibilities in league or in the OS it self ?
General graphics processing issues.
You just go into the registry, edit one or two things, boom. FPS spikes completely gone.
Suggesting W10 is bad because of this is like suggesting SSDs are bad because you have to do several fixes to get them to run better than a HDD.
i dont think its bad... i think it is unfinished and buggy... but then you say i need to go into the registry and fix files to make it run smooth...
is it me its buggy ? or is it just buggy? im sure its great once you work all the bugs out
but i know it effects me at work more then here... the software and programs i need to use at work dont like it much
Most of the software/programs you'll have issues with you can just run in compatibility mode and it'll run fine; some you might just have to right click->run as admin.
Yeah, its irritating at times, but it often comes down to security, which I've had no issues with on 10, despite not even using any malware protection. I still do scans, but I have no active protection.
Its not enough of a problem if you know the workarounds to consider using another OS.
The FPS spikes are a somewhat common issue that's easy to fix though. I imagine its much easier to find now than after its initial release. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll try to find the fix myself.
Happens for some people, not for others. Partially dependent on drivers, I believe.
that is why GM wouldnt approve 10 for so long ( i work as an auto tech for GM dealership) and it makes the gm software i need to scan and community with cars a bit buggy sometimes...
i cant really alter the gm software
that is why i mean it affects me at work
There's only been one bug I've encountered in Windows 10, and that's applications running off to a non-existent 3rd monitor and not responding to the Win+arrow key commands to bring them back. I know a work around to bring them back, and it doesn't happen often, but it is a bug that annoys me.
Other than that, Windows 10 has been better for me than Windows 7. I think any registry tweaks I made I made to Windows 7, and it was for things like changing the default login page background. The command prompt in Windows 10 is better, Remote Desktop works better with my computer, I'm pretty sure the search my computer feature works better too.

3-500 on Windows 7
1-200 on Windows 10
W10 should of never existed
well they had to fix the fail of windows 8 and 8.1 somehow....
and they come out with 10
riot has to fix fail of season 6 and now we have season 7 upon us
conspiracy ?
Windows 8 was built for touch-screen; mostly because they were too lazy to build an OS for windows phone and new PCs seperately.
8 was garbage, 8.1 fixed it tbh. I just didn't like it more than 7 and had no reason to upgrade from 7 to 8.
oh i know that 8 was for touch screen/phones tablets... and 8.1 did correct alot of its issues but windows 7 was way better and went from 7 to 10
Arbitrary numbers?
Also, Vista should have never existed.
10 is honestly fine. If you don't think so, take off the nostalgia glasses. It runs just as well as windows XP and windows 7 in their eras.
There are just a few fixes you have to make that are relatively simple. Google it and there are a million reddit threads on how to do so.

Windows 10 looks like it should be a os for a tablet or phone not a fucking pc.
That would be Windows 8.
Windows 10 is almost just like 7 outside of a few things with the start menu, which you can change.

That's far closer to what the average customer sees when using Windows 10, unless they turned on Tablet Mode.
Fps largely depends on your video/ graphics card. The higher end card you have most of the time the higher frames it can render to bring to your screen. This is of course capped by your monitor's ability to display fps. I dont know what kind of card you have but it might be the reason you get 1 fs. Either that or another factor is bottlenecking you.
W10 has issues with gaming that you sometimes have to address. This includes severe FPS spikes. That's more likely the issue, considering you'd have to have a computer from 2004 or earlier to run League at 1FPS due to hardware.
Most computer illiterate people don't have a computer that has lasted nearly 13 years because they don't perform upkeep.
Also consider that he has W10, which means relatively new hardware, which can run League on max settings at 15FPS as a minimum, which doesn't inhibit gameplay in the slightest.
I'm suspecting he hasn't done the various fixes to solve the FPS spiking problems with W10. Its especially bad with 3D Isometric games.
Reduce the graphics to the minimum and turn off your frame cap limit. Your FPS will skyrocket.
i play with a 150 fps that stays steady
Its W10 in his case, not hardware. I'd bet money on it.
He's gotta do some simple registry fixes and it'll run smooth.
Your 60Hz screen cannot display anything over 60 fps properly. Uncapping FPS just lowers real performance by overworking the gpu for no gain, and can cause image tearing on some hardware.
Kinda hard to tell if there is actually anything we can suggest that will work without any specs on the computer you are using.
Windows 10 is pure shit for gaming. Get a real OS, or at least look up how to get rid of the awful changes from the anniversary update (july).
Do not use any "game performance booster" programs, none of them work and half of them are malware. Defrag hard drive, though.
I've had absolutely no issues with W10 outside of a few tweaks I had to make directly after installing, which is to be expected.
It runs better than W7 even. W8/8.1 was a garbage filler OS, much like Vista.
Anniversary update had no negative changes, considering you can disable the only significant thing it changed: Microsoft Security Essentials/Windows Defender.
There are several performance boosters that work fine. Most of them just lower background processing so your hardware is focused on the program you're utilizing, rather than said background processes. Same reason running in fullscreen works better than windowed.
Defragging is a horrible idea if you have a SSD. Only suggest this if you know for a fact that they have a HDD.
Purely personal experience and irrelevant to the topic, there are a lot of very common and well-known issues with windows 10. If you have not experienced them, that is good luck on your part.
Defragging a SSD is not useful, but it also does no damage to it (modern SSD writecycle lifespans are extremely long, in the area of hundreds of thousands to millions of gigabytes of writes).
