Sett's Pathing and Other Interactions

I have noticed that Sett 's pathing is well, completely screwed. I believe it has to do with his auto attack range constantly changing between Left and Right Punch. Sometimes Sett will walk strait at his target like any normal champion, but then other times will take some of the most round about paths I have ever seen. An example would be sometimes he'll try to walk through a minion wave and other times he'll avoid is at all costs. He minion blocks himself even when no minion block is apparently present. I wish I had recorded examples of this, I suppose my hopes is that others do.

Another interaction I'd like to bring up is champion made walls. (Ex: Yorick , Anivia ) For me, it was Yorick's wall. Whenever he would cast the wall, Sett would path directly into it no matter what and get effectively stuck in the wall; almost like he was being pulled into it. When this happened, Sett would be completely helpless and unable to move. Sure, he could fight, but that does little good when a Yorick Wraith is sucking away at your Health. I would like to emphasize that I believe this interaction is do to Sett's buggy Pathing.

The last interaction I have noticed problems with is on his Ultimate. Sett's Ultimate should Suppress who he carrying. Why? Because champions like RekSai can Ulti you while you're in the middle of your Ulti. You can call this counter play I guess, but boy oh boy is it disorienting. I have noticed this interaction with any champion that can make themselves untargetable for a time and I have a hard time telling if it is by design or not. If it is, then wow, honestly I hate it, but if not than it needs to be fixed.

To conclude I will offer some changes that I think should be made so that this isn't just a rant post. Also apologies if this thread already exists, I just wanted to get my thoughts out there in hopes that it will benefit the game.

  1. Sett's Right Punch needs to have a Tool Tip telling you that you are on Right Punch. It is so awkward having to keep track of which punch you are on. Along with this I believe Right Punch needs to expire after so many seconds and this needs to be represented in the Tool Tip. I don't know what the magic number is, but I think it would be an amazing Quality of Life change. Right Punch should also maybe not have a longer range. i get why it's there and why it is good, but if Riot believes he needs that range to be good, then maybe he just needs that range regardless. My right hand might not punch as hard as my left, being Left handed, but it sure does punch the same distance.

  2. Fix the wall glitch. Again I believe this is a side effect of his horrible Pathing, so if that is fixed this should follow suit.

  3. Make his Ultimate Suppress whomever he is carrying, otherwise I believe these awkward, jarring interactions will persist.

Thank you all for reading, hopefully this will gain some traction and Sett's problems can be resolved. I really loving playing this champion, but these issues make him borderline unplayable to me. PS: Can't decide whether this belongs in Gameplay or in Report a bug, but I'm deciding on Gameplay and hoping that's correct.

He starts with left, right? If so it's a 2 second timer before reverting to left. Putting a cooldown timer on his passive would convey that without having a constant buff bar going on and off.

Sett's only problem is being OP.. upcoming nerfs hopefully fix it
