LeBlanc's Identity Crisis
It makes me genuinely sad whenever I think about the wasted potential of LeBlanc. Personally, she probably has the potential to be one of the most interesting and deeply fleshed out characters in this game, but she's not.
LeBlanc's whole gag is that she's a deceiver. She's a powerful woman in a powerful position who swindles and bamboozles all those around her. Right away we get an image of this powerful, almost executive woman who isn't afraid of anything, yet retains some playfulness. But, this concept isn't translated well into game.
Firstly, the image riot sells us if Evaine LeBlanc in the lore, is completely different than that of the one ingame. Ingame LeBlanc has almost no personality. A new player could pick her up and play her for 10 hours and still know next to nothing about her, and I get that's why lore exists, but when compared to other more fleshed out champions, it doesn't seem fair. This could be helped with the addition of more interesting quotes, but that likely won't happen soon as Riot are still pushing the rework on us.
And this new rework, and I can't help but feel when they were designing this, the developers paid no mind to her actual character, and instead just put a bandage on her old play style under the guise of "healthy gameplay". Any deceptive qualities of her new kit seem dismissive and rarely useful. A deceiver seems like something that could offer countless ideas, but Riot seem hesitant to leave old concept of this "elusive" Mage in favour of a truly interesting and deceptive champion.
