Riot: Have you tried anyone getting S-Rank on your team gives chests?

Okay, so it's easiest to get S if you're going pure CS/split push and pretty much ignore your team. You're gonna get higher rank on average if you let two people on your team die rather than sacrificing your life for them. Getting an S means free cosmetics, because it grants chests, which kinda doubles down on the incentive to play purely for the system rather than for the team.

Currently you only get chests if your teammates get it if you enter a queue together with people. However, if it was widened to everyone, queued with or not, wouldn't people feel better about other people on their team getting S? Wouldn't in incentivize playing less selfishly and helping assure those on your team who were ahead didn't get killed(generally a good idea anyway for winning)?

Have you already tested this? If so, did it cause other issues?

Then they would be giving away too many chests and not promoting Dynamic Queuing at the same time. There is a reason the bonus is give for those USING dynamic queue.

I've never really had any issues getting S-ranks for chests.

I just play normally and get them fairly regularly without deliberately trying to get them.

Heck, it only took eight games for me to get the five S-ranks I needed to go from Master 5 to Mastery 7 on Udyr.

This wouldn't be a bad idea because as the season progresses, getting an S rank escalates as player improve across the board and log in good games with those champs. You're graded against everyone else in the game playing that champ in that role, so yeah, by this time, it's nearly impossible to get an S by yourself. It wouldn't be so bad giving them to you if a random teammate got an S just because an S is so rare to begin with, especially as a support. Perhaps if they released more information on how to GET an S rank, things might be different and we could actually have points to strive for to do better, rather than this vague system they've given us.
