Isn't it about time for crit to dodge?

I mean, the idea is practically beaten around by everyone, but I'm still going to try and bring it up. What I'm talking about is replacing the crit +% with AA Damage +%. For instance, item 1051 would increase AA's damage by 10%. Another example - item 3031 - would increase the AA's damage by 20% and increase all bonus AA's damage by extra 50%(Cap increased from 100 to 150%), so it gives 30% by itself and 5% extra for every 10% AA's Damage +% you get. And of course, cap it at 100%, so it is functionally the same as crit chance but without the random involved. Ashe, for instance, already does it through her passive.

What about TryndamereYasuoGraves ?

Tryndamere is fairly straightforward here, it's just extra AA damage +%! Done.

Yasuo is a bit more tricky, but his passive can be dealt with the same way as item 3031 - since he has double crit chance but only deals 90% critical damage(75% on Q), just make him get 80% extra +AA damage modifier(counts as 50% extra for Q), and it would technically work the same way. Graves gets an extra bullet for every extra 25% +AA damage modifier! Technically the same, only discreet.

But why?

To remove random from the game. Assuming PRNG we have right now, we can kind of say that in exchange of 3 AA's with 50% critical chance there's 2 probable scenarios. 2 crits, or 1 crit, 0 and 3 crit in a row is far too unlikely due to pseudo-RNG being used. And of course, very often the victory between ADC's(and sometimes the teams) is decided by luck, as in a simple exchange of AA's inevitably one of them will get luckier and crit twice in a row to kill their enemy outright.

What about critical strike animations?

Since there's no more critical strikes, there won't be any animations for crits. Right? Wrong. Critical Animation can be made to be utilized with: item 1410 item 3100 item 3025 item 3078 Spellblade procs item 3742item 3087item 3094 (when used with full charge) item 3748(on active AA modifier) When a champion is capped on +AA damage % (equivalent to 100% crit)

Maybe these ones too: item 3124 item 3156 item 3053(when enraged) item 3302item 3097 item 3401(when executing a minion) item 2015item 3134(when effect is applied)

As well as champion abilities/effects: Aatrox's W(not sure, does it work similar to that already with different animation for 3rd AA?) Akali's triggering AA(the one which activates mark) Alistar's R since it boosts his AD and makes him awesome Bard when he has a meep ready Blitzcrank with his E Braum when he goes for the stunning hit Caitlyn's headshot(already kinda works like that... I think) Darius under his bloodlust effect And this list can go on and on. Though Gotta bring up Pantheon who STILL does CRITICAL STRIKES with his E WITHOUT THE CRITICAL ANIMATION.

possible, but the boring alternative. instead, crits could work like shiv. charging up on auto attacks and then auto critting at 100 stacks.

the only additional requirement to eb added would be that crit stacks decay when out of combat for a few seconds. otherwise its too easy to sit on them.

but that would remove the rng element while keeping the big "fun" hits riot is going for.

a few nieche cases would ahve to be consdiered when it comes to crits on abilities. but those champions are rare enough to make a choice on how the mechanic interacts with them individual basis.
