You win lane, but you lose the game.

I have been watching quality streamers who speak their mind aloud and pickup good information. Learning about how to position as a frontliner and as a burst mage I play Syndra. I find myself winning lanes and trying to rotate around the map pushing for objectives, but when our outer turrets fall, and lanes are in the middle. No objectives are alive, what do you do? Looking for fights in the jungle doesn't work in my Elo (Gold 5) my team gets picked and it's a 4v5 soon turned into a 3v5 because going too deep to save someone is fairly common here. But lets say we get the pick, now it's 5v4 but their big cc is still alive and my comp has very little aside from me and maybe a point and click stun. Forcing it down mid doesn't result in the best and split pushing to a different lane leaves my team alone and to wander around. Getting picked once more and now falling back to regroup. It just seems hard, solo que'ing isn't easy and I find myself losing a lot even though I am strong and aim for the priority targets and focusing on my teams potential to kill. Do I need a jungler to duo with? Do I need to trio? I need advice, someone to bounce questions off of, to pick at someones brain for decision making. Thanks.

I'm gonna explain to you something even diamond players don't get sometimes (ughhhhhhh)

Standard close out to get the inner towers... When both teams know you're stronger, the key is pressure in at least 2 lanes. Usually mid + side lane. Four one (four players mid, one player split push) When both lanes are getting pushed toward their tower the big group of allied players should converge or already be converged into the jungle between both lanes to choke out the enemy team with ward coverage and maybe vision denial. Actually it's a simple as moving. The enemy team should be split or left one tower out to dry. The team should collapse onto the weak side and delete the tower.

Once the inner towers are gone the inhibitor towers aren't really gotten this way as it's easy for the enemy team to rotate behind their base walls. That's when you play for baron and deny them as much vision as you can. Once you have baron they shouldn't be able to waveclear multiple lanes.

But in gold... you probably just have to make picks yourself. Avoid deaths and basically enable your team to do their thing 5v4.

Gold level tends to aram a lot without a clue what to do though. Maybe sometimes you have to do the splitpush yourself. If a lane is frozen in your side of the map it'll start to stack. This could be good pressure giant wave in a couple minutes or just a big fatty wave for your enemy (and lost farm for your side). Early mid clear these frozen waves, then late game allow minion wave stacks pushes.

"Win the lane, Lose the game"? Didn't people talk about Yorick (The champion himself, not the person playing him) like that for a while? Yorick

I have had 3 games in the last week where I have played pretty much as well as you can play. Completely dominating my lane and helping my team but still losing. I had one game where I literally took 7 towers and 3 inhibs by myself and still lost the game because my team was actually that bad.
